We had a great time at the Oseetah Lake House. It's a beautiful home with an open floor plan that lends itself easily to family gatherings indoors [we were there during snowy winter season] but we could see that the lovely porches and access to the lake for warm weather would be great. It was easy to get into Lake Placid for restaurants and activities, and so peaceful and quiet at night.
John Sweeney and his family could not have been easier to work with, and they extended warm hospitality for our arrival, including shoveling several inches of fresh snow! The house was immaculate and well-furnished, and the beds were very comfy ~ we wished we could have stayed longer!
