I really enjoyed staying at the Thayer's and it was great to be able to extend my stay!! They have three different rooms that they rent out here and all are very nice!! Great neighborhood and location, beautiful home and wonderful people!! I definitely recommend.
An overall great experience; the home is beautiful and the Thayer's are wonderful and gracious hosts!! Located in a very convenient area of San Francisco, it is easy to get around by public transportation or on foot - Golden Gate Park, the Haight and the Castro district are all within walking distance. The room and bed/mattress are very comfortable and the bathroom is quite beautiful!! I definitely recommend staying here on your trip to San Francisco!
This trip at Ernest's place was fantastic, his son Jos has received us very well. The house is really nice (especially the bathroom) and well located. I suggest you to stay at Ernest place and you will enjoy your trip as I did.
It was a pleasure to stay with Ernest. The home is in a wonderful location and was clean, quiet, warm and inviting. Visitor's should be aware that it has a shared bathroom for guests. It is a very very nice and clean bathroom and was not a problem for us, but for those that might have issues...
Everything went fine, nice location in a beautiful town. Thank you.
Josh was very welcoming. He gave us very detailed instructions to get to his house and useful advice regarding San Francisco touristic spots. The house was very well-maintained and clean, the spacious and very modern bathroom made our stay very pleasant. The room itself was comfy and nice, with the private balcony. However, due to the presence of three very close rooms on the same floor, it could get a little noisy sometime. If you're planning on walking during your stay, you should keep in mind that the house is situated on top of a pretty steep hill and that taking the bus is almost necessary to get there. If you're staying for a while and need to get your laundry done, there is a laundromat not too far (on 18th street).
It was a nice stay at Ernest's place. His son Josh was checkin me in and the room was clean, neat and perfectly located. I would definately recommend to stay in this beautiful house.
I was only in San Francisco for a couple of days but my experience was made even better by Ernest and his son Josh.
Their beautiful house had all the amenities I needed to use and they were extremely welcoming and very helpful if I had any questions.
My bedroom was just beautiful and had a nice balcony attached to it.
A very good experience and I will definitely be staying at their place again in the future on my next visit.
The house is beautiful as other have stated the house is absolutely beautiful. I thought the best feature was the the wonderfully large shower in the bathroom across from Room 2. The hosts were great and even went out of their way to wash a sweater and shirt I left behind. Talk about service! I would definitely stay here again.
