Other Westside Bend breweries and eateries are just a few steps (or pedals) further. Everything is within five minutes of our doorstep, with trails (Shevlin and Phil's trailhead) only 15 minutes by bike, and 1st Street Rapids two minutes by bike.
Expect peace, quiet, and relaxation while enjoying breakfast among the flowers and greenery of our front yard, or an evening meal around the fire pit. As well, Alley access with parking out back is safe and secure.
Guests will have access to the garage (for storing bikes, kayaks, skis, etc.), downstairs bedroom and bathroom, the kitchen and living room, as well as the sunny outside patio and garden. Basically everything except a tiny wooden shed!

We had a fantastic first experience with airbnb. James was a wonderful host who graciously showed us our room and bathroom. All was as described. The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean. We were able to use the fridge which was very nice. They have a darling outdoor patio which we would have loved to enjoy but time didn't allow. The location of the home couldn't have been better with easy access to downtown Bend and the west end neighborhoods. Parking out front was a breeze. I would highly recommend staying with James and Laura.
James and Laura's house is bright and cute, and they are warm, friendly, accommodating and super helpful. The house is in a great location and we could walk downtown and drive to cool parks etc. I highly recommend staying here if you come to visit Bend!!
James and Laura were super hosts, interesting to visit with and we found out that James had attended a small liberal arts college in the same town in Arkansas where our parents are from...small world story. They loaned us their commuter bikes so my sister and I could explore the town, and they also let us use their laundry to wash some clothes. Their home is in a very convenient location to walk to downtown and some restaurants were even closer, only a five-minute walk.
We had a great time in bend and James and Laura's home was perfect for our stay! Lots of brewery's around that you can bike to and great food just a few blocks away;) We also enjoyed our coffee every morning out front in their beautiful little patio garden! James and Laura were great hosts they aloud us to do are own thing but also interacted with great conversations. We definitely hope to stay there again!!
Ps the towels are very soft!!
It was an amazing time with James and Laura in Bend. They have done all to make our stay unforgotten. Thanks so many and we hope once a time we come back to you.

Arrived late at night but we were left with great instructions to get in and feel at home. Very comfy and warm environment, close to attractions in Bend. Within walking distance of a great local market. Would definitely stay here again!
James and Laura were gracious, supportive and very concerned that we had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic and the house is beautifully appointed. They generously offered the use of their kitchen. The room was small but comfortable. Overall a great experience!

About the Host, James And Laura
We live in Bend. It's great. Laura is a wildland firefighter and masters student and James is a reporter and also in a masters program. We're both writers, bike nerds and general outdoor recreate-ers who enjoy good food, drink and conversation. Cheers.
