Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • AWESOME place and people that run this. I was flying in late in the evening and they saved me some money in cab far and confusion by coming to get me. The house is great. Comfy and well located for visiting (but not living in) the plaka neighborhood, and a comfortable walk to the ancient sites. My best Airbnb experience yet, these folks are pros. The apartment is very clean and well laid out, huge porch, everything worked. I came on easter weekend, many things in the city were closed, and they helped me figure out the ferry schedules and took me for something to eat on Easter Sunday. Very gracious hosts, Highly recommended!

  • It was my second stay in this lovely apartment y apartment and I can't wait to come back. It is in a perfect location, an easy 5 minute walk to the Acropolis Museum and within easy reach of everything you want to see, but tucked into a real neighborhood. The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything works perfectly, including fast free wifi. The best thing is the huge terrace. Excellent communication and smooth check-in, too. I would recommend this place to anyone.

  • Excellent position, and nice flat. Helena, Vassili and their friends at Seegreek could not have been more helpful. Recommended.

  • We stayed in Helena's lovely apartment during the 1st week of April. Due to the temperature while we were there, we didn't need either the air-conditioner or heater, it was very comfortable. There is a large balcony that can be shaded or sunny, with a retractable awning.
The apartment was very well situated for sight-seeing. It was an easy and comfortable walk (though uphill, of course!) to the Acropolis and surrounding neighborhoods.
Helena provided lots of helpful information in advance via email, and in a binder in the apartment, and made sure that we felt very comfortable calling if any issues arose (we had no issues, but we certainly felt like we could have called and help would have been available).
There is a market just a few blocks away and we shopped there several times, to supplement the meals we had at restaurants.
I would also recommend the car service that Helena recommended to us. The lady who picked us up from the airport to take us to the apartment was very friendly and informative.
I would highly recommend this apartment to others.

  • We were 4 in the appartment which was spacious enough, we really loved the terrace where we had all of our breakfast, the weather was so nice In February!! Thanks to Vassilis who picked up us at the airport and for having organized our tour to the Poseidon temple. Special thanks to Krysta who drove us to Cape Sounio, she is really really kind and so funny, we laughed a lot!!! But she also explained us a lot about Greek history and culture. Thanks to all of you!

  • Finding the apartment was easy enough. We came by car so parking was the most difficult. There are a number of lots in the area or if you are lucky, or fast, you can find free street parking. The apartment is just as it is pictured. It is close to the Acropolis Museum, 2 blocks maybe, but there is only a street view off the terrace. It is a large terrace and in the warmer months it would be lovely to sit out in the evening with friends. The bedrooms were great and comfortable with nice pillows. The host even placed a small bed for our youngest son in a quiet corner in the living room (we have three boys) so there is plenty of space. The kitchen is in perfect working order. There is plenty of dishes and pots for cooking. We had some issue figuring out the hood fan, the controls are hidden, but we were talked through how to find them by Helene on the phone! Helene was explicit in expressing that if we had any issues to not hesitate to call. I never felt embarrassed to call and ask her a question. The apartment's radiator heat is on a timer controlled by the building. But there are wall units to take the December chill away (or air condition in the summer too). The biggest quirk is the hot water. Remember to turn it on in enough time to have a shower, and to turn it off before getting in the water or it will be too hot! The one thing my children didn't like was not being able to put toilet paper in the toilet, but this is an issue all over Greece so I didn't think it was a problem. (I just wanted to let potential renters to know.) One more small warning. If you are traveling with curious children, do not alert their attention to the 'window' behind the toilet. It is a ventilation (?) shaft that drops the 4 stories down. I peeked but I didn't show my boys, just say it is a window if children ask. The apartment was great for us. We enjoyed our time there and walked all over Athens, not once moving our car from the prime spot in front of the building.

  • My husband and I were very happy with our four day stay in this apartment and the service provided by Helena and her husband! Athens is a wonderful city and having "our own" place to relax was important to us rather than staying in a hotel. To start, Vassily picked us up at the airport and we enjoyed great conversation and learned much about Greek culture and the area on the way to the apartment. The apartment is quiet, spacious and comfortable and would be great for a family with children or two couples. We liked having a kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, including coffee, tea, and a few food items. The apartment is very well situated for easy walking to restaurants, shopping and sites. We liked having a washing machine and drying rack to do laundry. The large terrace would be lovely in a warmer season, but worked for drying clothes quickly. The car fares we paid for airport pickup and dropoff at Piraeus port were less than a cab and service was excellent. At the port, I left something important in the driver's car and when I sent a text to Helena and Vassily, he responded quickly and returned the item to us. Overall, we were very happy with our stay in this apartment and with the services provided!
