Not Suitable for quarantine due to shared spaces. Cute cabin built in 2016, feather duvets to keep you warm, loft bed overlooking the Yukon River and Downtown. There are very steep stairs to the loft, there is limited electricity...meaning you can plug too many items in at the same time. There is an outhouse( and an indoor Shared bathroom, laundry in the main house across the yard). There is a rustic outdoor kitchen available with coffee & tea , cereal, yogurt and a cooler for your food.

The space
If you love local organic food and want to experience life in the Yukon but still be close to the City this is the place for you. Just a 5 minute drive, 20 minute bike ride or 10 minute canoe to the City Centre. We also back onto forest where bears, deer, fox and wolves can be seen wandering down the Rd.
Your bed is comfy and clean.

Guest access
You will have access to the property, free parking,fire-pit, trampoline, picnic table, hammock, careful not to let the chickens, or ducks out of the coop if you go to see them.

Other things to note
On warm days chickens are smelly.
Limited electricity- cant boil water and have the heater running at the same time or it will trip the breaker. not a big deal to turn ot back on for you.

We LOVE the Yukon and living a healthy outdoor life style. We want to share our unique life style with you. We are huge foodies and we try to grow and raise our own food, fish, hunt. We bake our own bread, make yogurt, sausages and fermented foods. We are living the back-to-land life style with the convenience and fun of being on the edge of the city where you can go to town to see live music and host bon-fires and play games like Settlers of Catan. We are experienced hosts ( having hosted over 100 Workawayers/WOOFERs). We usually Have international workers here who speak French, German and Spanish.
