My son and I traveled to Wexford in December 2013 and spent a night at Declan and Kathy Cody's beautiful and spacious apartment. It was located very close to downtown Wexford, just a few blocks from the center of town. We were able to walk from the bus station to the apartment. We enjoyed our stay there and found it very comfortable and well-appointed. I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone wishing to visit Wexford, looking to stay close to town. Our host, Kathy, was very welcoming and helpful.
The apartment of Kathy and Declan is very cute. It is difficult to find it the first time, because there is no number, but after it is easily to find it. The problem is the internet conection who is very very low. The apartment is 15 minutes from the station to walk. I suggest you to have a car if you want to visit Wexford, because it is very difficult to get around by bike or car. Kathy and Declan are lovely people.
We stayed in this lovely apartment in Wexford for 2 nights. It was perfect for us--a short walk to/from Main St, just as the pictures showed, well furnished, plenty of plugs, big, fluffy towels, comfy bed, delightful owners.
We had a wonderful week in Wexford and in the apartment! The apartment was as described and perfect for us. Very clean and nice and the location was great. Declan and Kathy was very friendly and helpful and even drove us to a beautiful beach one day! We can highly recommend the apartment!
We were quite pleased with our selection and stay at Kathy & Declan's apartment. The Apartment is very private, separate entrance and utilities from the main house. The bedding is first class, and we appreciated the comfort. We arrived a bit early from the train, and were able to drop our luggage off at the house and take in some sights. The historic town is just a short walk. The Cody family are a perfect host, friendly and helpful, even to offer rides to the train station. Nice touch. You can not go wrong here.
Best time in Ireland. Declan and Kathy are great hosts. Wexford is a lovely town, close to everything great for day trips around the area. Highlight of our time was the Saturday night BBQ! Apartment is very clean and very cute, perfect for two people.
Lovely flat, perfect for a weekend break in Wexford and convenient for the town with on-site parking. Kathy and Declan were very accommodating and I would definitely recommend them.
“Quiet” – idyllic; “but very central” – ten minute walk to the vibrancy of 21st century Wexford and with a heritage of days long past; “apartment” – you couldn’t ask for more, indeed a home from home and a credit to Declan and Kathy’s hard work and kindness.
Ireland is a little piece of heaven in this world; Wexford is a little piece of heaven in Ireland; Declan and Kathy’s apartment is a little piece of heaven in Wexford.
Declan and Kathy are really good hosts and we enjoyed our time during the christmas days there. We can really recommend a stay in the little nice town Wexford. This apartment is perfect for it. It is well-equiped, with nice furniture, really comfortable, quiet and very clean.
My boyfriend and I stayed ten nights in the charming town of Wexford. Kathy and Declan's apartment was ideal, with everything you need to feel right at home. Spending an evening in their company was one of the highlights of our travels. Thanks guys
