The Space

Welcome to our Studio El Molino

Its located a few meters from "El Molino", a café-concert in Barcelona, the most famous theaters Parallel Avenue in the twentieth century.
A charming apartment in Poble Sec, definitely one of the nicest neighborhoods of Barcelona.
If you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay for a few days or weeks, you will not find any better for the place and services, which makes a very good value for money.
It's a very comfortable studio, with local amenities to enjoy a pleasant stay.

The apartment is located in the Poble Sec Quarter , just 10 minutes walk from the famous Las Ramblas , Port of Barcelona and only 15 minutes walk from the Plaza de Catalunya .

In my apartment you'll find:
• Great location, with all kinds of tourist attractions.
• Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need.
• Fresh clean towels and linen
• One totally empty wardrobe for you
• TV , Wi -Fi.
• Washing machine
• Hand soap, toilet paper included.
• Hair dryer .
• Cleaning person will clean apartment before your arrival.
• Subway maps , maps of the city, amenities brochures
• Free luggage storage service

The studio is very well connected, 1 minute walk from the metro station Paral•lel line 2 and 3, many bus stop, and aerial tram station.

An ideally oriented Barcelona neighbourhood, Poble-Sec is located directly between the Montjuic Mountain and Las Ramblas
Because Poble Sec is a nice residential area just outside the gothic quarter, it is quieter than the city center and still only a 10-15 minute walk from Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya. It is the perfect choice if you want to be centrally located and, at the same time, away from the crowds of tourists that are found in other parts of the city.
Poble Sec is also the place in Barcelona for the lover of fine food. With lots of great bars and restaurants that are local gems and have not been discovered by the average tourist, in Poble Sec you can feel like a true “Barcelonés” and dine like a king for a reasonable price.
There are a lot of things to do in the area of Montjuic Poble Sec, you will discover an amazing view of the entire city and the Mediterranean on a beautiful ¨green walk¨ with fresh air and some amazing parks and gardens. A few other cool thing to check out in the Montjuic Mountain area are the Fundació Joan Miró, the Estadi Olímpic Lluis Companys, the Jardi Botànic de Barcelona, The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, the free museum at the Caixa Forum and the famous Magic Fountains of Montjuic – a water and light show choreographed to music played over loudspeakers that attracts more than 2.5 million visitors per year.
These are only a few of the many reasons why Poble-sec is a perfect place to stay while visiting Barcelona. You can both observe and feel a part of the real life of the Barcelona locals and with a very short walk take advantage of some of the fabulous tourist attractions that Barcelona has to offer… also, if it’s your thing, you will end up in the middle of some of the biggest parties in the city.

Do not forget to check out the guide of the neighborhood that I leave here, update it often so you have more places to enjoy your stay.

Check In
  • Cryst was lovely - she was really helpful and checkin went smoothly. The apartment was in an ideal location, spotlessly clean and well equipped. It was fantastic value for money.

  • We stayed at Cristina's apartment for 5 days it was just like the pictures nice studio and had all that we needed, we met Maria who was very nice and welcoming, the location was right near the metro so everything was really close the only thing referring back to other comments is that the height of the apartments is very short but for us we didn't mind because we are not tall people but if your 6ft and planning to stay here watch your head lol !

  • We stayed in Cryst's apartment for 4 nights. Though we did not meet her, she always communicated quickly and professionally. We were met by Maria who made the check-in process very smooth. The apartment is literally a 30 second walk from Paral-lel station - very convenient. There is also a decent supermarket along the main road.
The apartment itself was fantastic! It was extremely well equipped - with crockery, extra toilet paper, washing machine powder - even some medical and toiletry supplies. The kitchen was also very decent size, with luxuries like stone benchtops that you don't often get in apartments for this price! The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom very nicely decorated.
As other reviews have said, the ceiling height is very low in some places, but if you can get past this, the apartment is perfect. We would book this apartment again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend!

  • Fine flat in great location. Clean, quiet and comfortable. However l am 6 feet tall and found the shower small and hit my head on a ceiling beam a few times. Despite that would stay here again.

    Thank you Cyrst.

  • Perfect flat for me! I stayed on my own for the whole week. Really enjoyed my stay, clean flat, nice and warm and great location. Would definitely book this again! (not suitable for super tall people).

    February 2014
  • The studio is clean, quit, closed to the center, (10 min from Rambla) you can take the breakfast outside 10 meters from studio. Metro L3 and L2 is 50 meters from studio.

  • Realy nice place!
It was clean, the bathroom and kitchen are good en the bed is nice.
Everything was well arranged, we could pick up the key immediatly and ask for anything if we wanted to.
The only disadvantage is the low ceiling, my boyfriend (who is 1.95 m) couldn't stand up.

  • Cryst was really a super nice host!! She's welcoming and helpful, placing in the appartment a lot of useful information for your stay in Barcelona. She's always available for you, before and during your trip. We had a very nice time in appartment, very well situated!! Thank you a lot Cryst xxx

  • Great apartment in fabulously located spot. It is amazingly right by the metro stop and a fun and easy walk to La Rambla. The compact interior space has a bit of unusual layout, but it was great to have a kitchen, hair dryer, very warm space heater, washing machine, comfortable bed, etc. Cryst was so helpful and so nice - even offering to drive me to the airport for a 6 am flight (which I politely declined because that is way too early). Great place for a great price. I'd definitely stay here again.

    December 2013
  • The apartment is nice, bright and very clean. We staid just for the weekend and the location was ideal as it is central and close to the metro station (1 minute walk). Cryst is the perfect host, and made us feel like at home. I definitely recommend it both for short and long stay in Barcelona.
