Recently fully renovated, this upscale, lakeview cottage retreat is a four-season rental in heart of Copper Harbor - just 2 blocks to Lake Superior & a short walk to restaurants, bars, shops & general store. Just blocks to trailhead for mountain biking/hiking/ XC-ski/fat biking/snowshoe, 4 miles to East Bluff trailhead & only 14 miles from Mount Bohemia Ski Resort and year-round Nordic Spa!

The space
A picturesque historic building (originally build in the early 1940's), with a COMPLETE REMODEL in 2023 that took history into account with a mid-century/modern approach. Fostering a fun step-back-in-time with an eclectic design mixed with modern day conveniences, the Cottage is also now winterized, so available for year-round-rentals!

Highlights include:
- King bed (and sofa bed has memory foam mattress)
- FULLY equipped kitchen (including stocked coffee/tea bar)
- Spacious deck, scenic harbor view
- Bike storage with standing rack, pump and basic tools (Note: summer/fall only)
- Wi-fi & Roku TVs (in living room and bedroom)
- Paid laundry service on premise, exclusively for guests

Here's a quick overview of reno-work completed:
- all new kitchen
- all new bath (NOTE: this is an "on-suite" to the bedroom -- and only accessible by walking through the bedroom; it's a bit quirky, yet was a 1950s upgrade from the original outhouse!)
- wall removal to create open-concept living room/kitchen
- privatization of bedroom
- refurbishing of hard wood floors throughout
- every wall freshly painted
- mid-century modern furnishings and decor
- unique, artisan custom-made pine furniture pieces
- behind the scenes work such as new windows, new drywall, electrical & plumbing upgrades, spray foam insulation and new heating system

Additionally, our kitchen is well-stocked with all the essentials. You are provided with basics and staples, including a variety of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, good knifes, oils, spices, vinegars, coffee and tea. Also have an Instant Pot, milk frother, food processor & blender, too!

Guest access
Only those included in your reservation will have access to the Cottage. We welcome to you to make yourselves at home within the entirety of the Cottage, along with its full front deck and side-yard where you'll find a picnic table, charcoal grill patio and the "bike shack," for which the key is provided for your exclusive use!

Hosts live next door and are readily available.

Other things to note
• NOT A PARTY PLACE! -- Quiet Hours after 11:00 PM (We respectfully ask that this property not be used as a gathering place/basecamp for large groups. Guests are of course welcomed to have guests, though we ask that the number be kept to a minimum – please inquire if you have any questions related to this policy.)
• Maximum overnight occupancy 4 persons.
• No bikes, skies or snowboards inside the Cottage OR leaning against the house.
• No smoking, no pets.

  *There is NO PHONE in rental and NO CELL RECEPTION in Copper Harbor. How to "Contact Us" and additional safety info will be found in your booking confirmation and a “Welcome Letter” at rental. NOTE: "Wi-Fi Calling" works best for most of our guests.
