Our property, Bella Vista, is beautifully located in a garden setting, overlooking the lake. It's truly romantic, but also a perfect property for family fun. There are stunning views of Tahoe and its mountains from every room in this charming home. The great room has a wood burning antique stove for apres ski, a well stocked kitchen, high speed internet, state of the art TV and sound system, and guest bathroom. Downstairs includes two bedrooms, a full bath, and a laundry area.

The space
Great care has been taken to make your experience one of peaceful, luxury. The home is furnished with care to make you feel pampered. The views are unbeatable, you will wake in the morning looking at the lake and dine in the evening watching the moon rise above it. This space is not handicap accessible nor safe for very young children due to steps and high balconies. If the guest house is rented the double decker pier is shared. We have no beach this summer due to heavy snowfall last winter. The kitchen is well equipped . You will find most staples (flour, sugar, spices, coffee, and paper goods.

The home is on a hill side with a separate garage. The steps are not steep but there are about 20. Sorry the property is not handicap accessible. The snow will be shoveled for you and the one way road is maintained by the county. Four wheel drive or chains are mandatory in our area during ski season. Always check road conditions.

During your stay

I like to either meet my guests when they arrive or check out. We have a property manager on site but the only place you will see him is possibly in the garage unless you need help from him. The guest house could be rented during your stay so that means the double decker pier could be shared at times.
