Welcome to Fox and the Vines! This is our signature room, a big and bright upstairs room perfectly located near George Fox University and in Oregon Wine Country. We also have an additional room for you to consider; More Fox and the Vines.

The space
You will discover this is a house filled with love, and it clearly resonates to our guests. We have filled our home with curated art, beautiful glass, and special antiques.

Fox and the Vines is spacious (16 x 17), with a high end memory foam bed/ pillows, a comfortable sitting area, a mini-fridge and a Bluetooth speaker. This room is perfect for travelers looking to stay for more than a day or two, but we do not have a minimum night stay requirement. This is definitely an above average room for an excellent price.

Our additional upstairs room available, More Fox and the Vines is smaller (13 x 11), but still quite suitable for a couple or solo traveler needing a place for a night or two. The view of the Chehalem mountain from this room is spectacular! When both rooms are available, they are a great option for families who want to book both; everyone has a comfortable space and quiet privacy. But we believe in the more the merrier, so there does not have to be a connection between the guests in both rooms.

We live in a very quiet, residential neighborhood. Although there is plenty of street parking, feel free to park in our driveway. We are about a mile from downtown Newberg, with many tasting rooms and antique stores. The number of wineries and tasting rooms within 10 miles is countless.

Like the experience of drinking fine wine; with an initial good impression, a fine mid-palate and the lingering finish, we strive for three stages to our guest’s experience. Before you ever step into our home, we start with good communication. Once there, we hope to make you feel comfortable and to answer any questions you may have. And upon your farewell, we want you to leave with memories of a wonderful stay. We love interacting with and learning from our guests.

In addition, I have been in the wine business for many years and can help you determine wineries you may want to visit based on your preferences and budget. We have maps of the wineries in the area, as well as menus from local restaurants and breweries that we can personally recommend.
