We offer the rare convenience of secure, off-street parking for trailers & oversized vehicles, making us a favorite for those visiting nearby trailheads. After exploring the West Virginia hills, come home to a quiet environment, a premium memory foam bed, & a Continental style breakfast. Located off historic Midland Trail/US Rt 60.
The space
Guests enjoy the *original* Airbnb experience with a solid night's sleep on a full-sized bed in the upstairs bedroom. Local, digital over-the-air television, and Wi-Fi, a selection of classic books, and local magazines to enjoy in the over-sized rocking chair are available no additional charge.
The downstairs bathroom features a 1918 cast-iron claw-foot tub with added shower, an early 1920's cast-iron sink, and classic black-and-white tiles.
Breakfast Menu Highlights:
Fresh Starts: Enjoy a variety of fresh fruit including apples and bananas.
Bakery Favorites: Dig into bagels, English muffins, and premium bread.
Cereal Bar: Choose from a selection of good-for-you cereals, or fun ones like Rice Krispies and Corn Pops.
Chilled Drinks: We serve orange juice and milk in vintage-style glass bottles.
Hot Drinks: We provide hot water and a selection of teas, and Kureig coffee with standard condiments.

To ensure every guest enjoys a freshly prepared room and breakfast, we observe consistent check-in (3-6 pm) and check-out (9 am) times. These times are firm!

Guest access
Guest have access to the first level, front porch, and the guest bedroom upstairs. Guest are not allowed in the basement. Use of the kitchen should be limited to non-alcoholic beverages and snack. Guest are not permitted to cook.
During your stay
Interactions with guest will be frequent, but not intrusive. We live in the house, I run my business from the house. A light breakfast (breads, coffee/tea, juice, milk, cereals etc. - no cooking) will be offered in the dining room most days.

Just 2.5 miles from Appalachian Outlaw Trail trailheads.
Within one mile of the residence is a fueling station, Shoney's, Arby's, McDonald's, Tractor Supply, Taco Bell, Walmart, and SubWay sandwich (inside WalMart).
Please note: no bars/pubs within walking distance. To protect our Boxer, and house cat we do not accept guests with pets. Anyone with pet allergies should consider another location.
Known food allergens are kept in-house, these include but are not limited to nuts, fish, milks, eggs, gluten, and others. This is a two-story, 1920's era home and is not handicap accessible.
ATV Mud Clean-Up Kit is an optional add-on amenities charge. This is managed request through the Airbnb Resolution Center.
