Looking to getaway in nature, yet want a few amenities provided? Look no more! The tiny house is a rustic, off grid home and there's NO RUNNING WATER, but it does have electricity, a full kitchen with stove/oven, and a refrigerator/freezer. A queen mattress in the loft, with a futon in the main living area. You have a private yard, yet there are other cabins close by.

We ask that there be NO alcohol or drug abuse on the property. We want people to connect with nature in peaceful way.

The space
Tucked into the Driftless Hills of southwest Wisconsin, this Tiny House Retreat provides relaxing tranquility and down to earth amenities. Located about 5 miles west of La Farge and 10 miles east of Viroqua, there is a bounty of hiking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming opportunities nearby. Also close by you will find farmers markets, Amish shops, and a vibrant mix of local organic food, arts, and handmade goods.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy queen mattress in the loft and a futon on the main level. The tiny house has electricity, a full refrigerator, stove with oven, pots and pans, and some cooking basics (oil, salt & pepper). While there is no running water, fresh water is provided in the cabin for drinking and washing up. If you run low and need a refill, there is a well pump steps away. There is also an outdoor, chemical-free porta potty.

Nestled in the woods, this private property offers peace, quiet, and a chance to reconnect with nature.

Outside, enjoy a fire pit, a small grill, and the quiet beauty of the surrounding landscape. We have three friendly outdoor cats who may come by to say hello. Please don't feed the cats. And, don't leave any food outside unattended. If you choose to bring a pet for an additional fee, please make sure they are leashed when outside.

Guest access
You have your own private yard, but are welcome to walk in the driveway and by the garden.

Other things to note
We kindly ask that you please do your dishes and put dirty sheets and towels in bathroom area on floor before leaving.

Only natural products are used in cleaning, washing, and even the porta potty is a chemical free.
