I had a great time in the barn with my mum and brother. The surroundings are beautiful with the sea only a stones throw away. Kenneth was an excellent and attentive host. We were welcomed with milk in the fridge, fresh eggs from the chickens outside and an offer of vegetables from the garden for our dinner. The interior design is beautiful, the kitchen is stocked with every gadget you could need and there are enough books and board games to keep you occupied for a (URL HIDDEN) was very difficult to leave

The barn has a wonderful atmosphere. We didn't spend a lot of time there. But the time we did we felt very much relaxed and at home. Kenneth was a gracious host. Thanks again for your hospitality. We would definatly rent the barn or the shed again.

Honestly cannot rave about this place enough. After the initial issues in finding the barn, which Kenneth sorted immediately by rescuing us, our stay at the barn was an absolute delight. LOVED the place. Thank you Kenneth for opening your home. From the magnificent scenery to the homely touches we couldn't have asked for a better place to base ourselves to explore the Cork area and its surrounding counties. It was our very first airbnb experience and it has set the bar very high. I would recommend Ballyshane to anyone.

The Barn is on the perfect piece of property, with stunning views of the ocean and beautiful fields. The Barn looks even better than the pictures. Kenneth is a charming host and was very accommodating. It's a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

What a beautiful and picturesque location! You cannot see the water from the barn, but you have an amazing view when you walk throughout the expansive property which we enjoyed. This is the perfect place to get away and "unplug," as it is quiet and secluded, and the beds are dreamy! Kenneth made sure we found it ok as that can be challenging, and Suzanne was available to greet us and made sure we had everything we needed. This was our first visit to Ireland and should have picked a location more convenient for site seeing other areas - but thankfully we had rented a car. The barn is quant and lovely and has everything you need for a quiet retreat!

Gorgeously cosy and beautifully decorated barns in a stunning location. There are gorgeous walks on your doorstop, lovely pubs and restaurants about a half hour's drive away. We didn't get to meet Kenneth but he was extremely helpful and really looked after us as much as he could. Little touches like fresh milk and homemade bread along with a stocked kitchen make this place feel like home.
