Our 2 bedroom suite is centrally located, yet tucked away in a safe and quiet neighborhood in Burnaby with gorgeous mountain views. Lots of unique restaurants, fresh bakery, meat market within 10min of walking. You will see why we love where we live!
The in-law suite is totally independent with it's own private entrance and parking area.
The suite has a fully equipped kitchen with an electric range and fridge. It has all of the little odds and ends you'll need during your stay, e.g. coffeemaker, pots and pans, and even ketchup!
Bedroom A has a queen-sized bed and Bedroom B has full-sized bed. Bathroom is clean and newly renovated. All linens and towels are included.
Living room is very spacious for you to relax after a busy day and enjoy some NetFlix on our new "Smart" SamSung LED TV.
Entrance to the suite is by a pinpad lock so you'll have the flexibility of when you'd like to check-in and check-out. The entrance is on the side of the house. with a walkway to the rear driveway.

Interaction with Guests
We live right upstairs and we are available to chat and offer great tips on fun things to do. Or if you like your privacy, we will be there only when you need us.
Our neighborhood boasts a very high walk score. Everything you need is within a 5-20min walk. Grocery/pharmacy, bakery, cafe, restaurants, banks, pet store, recreation centre etc!
There are many parks, playgrounds and trails right behind our house with beautiful scenic views of the ocean and mountains.
We are 5 min off Hwy-1 which makes our place a perfect spot to stay regardless if your coming from the Island, South, East, or from up North.
We have plenty of private parking on the property. By Car, Downtown is only 20 minutes away. 10min drive to the North Shore where the local mountains (Seymour, Cypress and Grouse) are waiting for you! Plenty of activities like mountain biking, hiking, skiing or snowboarding.
Transit hub is only 5 blocks away and will take you right into downtown, or 5 minutes to the nearby Brentwood Skytrain Station.

We strive to be pet-friendly. We welcome our guest's 4 legged friends, as long as they are house-trained and well-behaved.
There's an additional pet fee of $30 per pet per stay payable to the host upon arrival.
My stay here was incredible - comfortable, secure and a lovely property. Mona was a gracious and very accommodating host who was always available to answer questions and provide great tips about the area (she introduced me to the most amazing fruit and vegetable market just down the road!) The space had everything I needed to feel at home and more. It is also in a fantastic location - close to public transportation, supermarkets, etc. I felt welcome from the moment I arrived and would highly recommend this place. Thank you for everything!
Mona and her husband made us feel very welcome. The neighborhood was great, with a huge park (with a swimming pool!) nearby and good restaurants and easy shopping.
Mona was quick to help with everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

The unit is very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It's quiet, with plenty of parking and is located in a very scenic part of Vancouver's suburbs. And there is a keypad to lock and unlock the front door, so there are no keys to fuss with. This was great for us since we didn't need to bother anyone when we arrived rather late in the evening. Also, it's close to a number of great restaurants. Oh and a much appreciated surprise for us was free Netflix access on the TV!
Mona was a wonderful host. She was very prompt in replying to any questions we had and provided tons of local recommendations for favorite spots to eat and sites to visit (even if they happen to be impromptu filming locations nearby). And anything we had questions about were answered in the instructions she provided in the unit or when she greeted us.
The suite was very clean and had all the amenities we required for our short stay. The house had ample parking and was a 5 minute walk from a great park with trails, an outdoor pool and dog park. The neighborhood was safe and quiet but close to numerous shops and restaurants. The owners were very prompt with their replies and answered any questions we had about the house or area.
We recently had a wonderful 3 day visit to Vancouver. We are a family of 4, with 2 young children (2 and 7). Mona came out and greeted us as we arrived, which was very thoughtful. She gave us a quick overview and asked if we had any questions. We had a unique situation of having a tent trailer and selected this location because of the back driveway. Mona was concerned we may not be able to back the trailer in the driveway, so she gave us an alternate location just off the street, which worked well. In hindsight, I don't think it would have been an issue to park the trailer in the driveway, but it was nice not to have to negotiate a tight turn. The unit was very clean, updated and very spacious. It is exactly as shown in the pictures and as described. The location is in a very clean, quiet, beautiful part of Burnaby, one block from a big park (which has a large playground, aquatic center, and splash park for the kids); we went to the park twice everyday. It's also a short walk to Hastings street, which has all needed services, including some excellent restaurants. Other little things that made our stay pleasant were the LED TV with Netflix (they have an account already configured) and the free WiFi, little things like this make a stay much more pleasant. There was no access to washer and dryer, however we found a nearby laundry that cleaned our clothes for a reasonable price. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Vancouver, it's a gem in the heart of Burnaby!
The exterior door has a number lock. It makes check in and check out easy. We did not need to wait for host to open door (which we had some bad experience in Europe when we had to wait outside with all package). The neighorhood is quiet. When we wake up early, can walk less than a minute toward the back street to enjoy the lake view with frogy mountain scenery. With a few block away, there are few good cafe for breakfast and coffee. It is good location if you prefer quiet and low cost. However, it take longer drive to downtown and Richmond area, though the driving distance is not that long.
The apartment is roomy and clean. The kitchen quite completed equiped. For the bedrooms, I suggest should add on one iron board and hair blower. You can get some idea from something like HGTV program to make the bedroom better colorful with comparative low cost.

We are young working professionals who not only work hard but live life! We love living in Vancouver. We love the mountains and the water. There's just so much to do. We also like to venture out and explore the multi-cultural food that Vancouver offers.
