Very sunny apartment with a bedroom with one bed for two people and a living room with two beds (BEDSHEETS are included), kitchen and bathroom with SHOWER (TOWELS incl.),which is located in the lively district of Kreuzberg SO36 with many cafes, restaurants and bars around. The sightseeing attractions East Side Gallery (Berlin Wall) and Oberbaumbrücke are close-by. The metro stations Görlitzer Bahnhof and Schlesisches Tor U1 are just 5min walking distance away. The Ostbahnhof railway station is very easy to reach, and there is a bus (the 265) outside the front door. Carpark ist no problem in the street. The house (1890) is very quiet and in a very central location.
In the apartment there is a WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION (incl.) and we provide you with a local MOBILE PHONE ( all we ask you is that you leave the credit you use on the table when you leave) The kitchen is equipped with a WASHING MACHINE, DRYING RACK, DISHWASHER, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, coffee machine, cooker with oven and toaster. The bathroom has a Shower and there is also a HAIRDRYER. Bedroom and hallway each have a wardrobe. From the living room you can also see Berlins famous trademark the Fernsehturm. What makes this apartment unique are the colors in which the various rooms are decorated –bedroom with a rough wall in red shade, bathroom with a ceiling in navy-blue and gold, kitchen in light-blue and living room in red-orange with gold– and the old floorboard (1890).
The Eisenbahnstraße begins at the Lausitzer Platz where every Friday an organic farmer's market with fresh products of the region take place. There you can find such things as: a vegetarian restaurant (Café V) a very beloved ice cream café (tanne B) with Bioeis and ice cream for vegans , and many other restaurants and the beautiful Emmaus church (Emmaus Church in 1893 by August Orth). In the middle of the street is the Markthalle IX where every friday and saturday there is a street-market. The street ends at the Kopenickerstrasse (very close to the apartment), on the corner to the Heeresbäckerei (1893) from the Prussian era, and next the short Brommystraße. The Brommystrasse ends on a plateau by the Spree river, with a great view, where the former Brommybrücke was. In the borough there are also many expressions of street art very appreciated all over the world.
To walk or jog, there are two parks in the neighborhood: the Grörtlitzer Park ( 500m) and the Treptow Park (2km.)
There are 2 BIKES(incl.) that you can use.
For food-shopping, there are three well-known supermarkets nearby. Also at the other side of the Lausitzer Platz, in the Skalitzer Straße you will find a organic food store (Naturkost).
We beg our guest not to use normal shoes inside the apartment because of the old floorboard. We provide you with slippers.
It´s important to note that nighttime peace goes from between 9 pm and 6 am in the morning so we kindly ask you to pay attention to the noise you make and try to keep quiet.
Loved every minute of Berlin, Juan's apartment is lovely, clean, spacious and quiet. The location was perfect, surrounded by a whole host of nice bars and restaurants and really easy access to mitte. Handy local shops and getting to the stations was easy and quick. Juan's recommendations for nearby eateries and bars was great, having Burgermeister so close was a big plus! The bikes were a huge benefit to us, we managed to explore far more of the city with those added in. Juan was very helpful and prompt getting back with any queries too
The apartment is well located, especially for young people who would enjoy the Kreuzberg area. The food market down the road is also amazing.
Everything worked well and was clean, a really large space and the high ceilings mean you can really breathe! Thanks to Juan and highly recommended
The stay at Juan's apartment was enjoyable and wonderful.
I was traveling with my parents and wanted to show them the city (Berlin) that I am going to live in the coming years. Juan's apartment and the neighborhood definitely left a great impression and showed one of the best part of Berlin to them.
The apartment is spacy and cozy, both kitchen and bathroom are so neat and clean, and the living room definitely proved a nice/warm comfort to the tired exhausted travelers. Highly recommendable :)
Juans flat is very cosy and close to a lot nice bars and restaurants. We enjoyed our short stay and would appreciate if there would be an occasion for longer stay soon. His neighborhood is really amazing.
Clean and spacious apartment. Has all the equipments you would ever need for a few days stay or longer. Great location. Never met Juan but communication with him was fast and simple.
I recommend highly.
The apartment is clean, nice and comfortable – as desribed! It is very well located (cca 10min walk from the East Side Gallery Berlin (must seen ! ). Plenty of restaurants & bars are in the neigbourhood. The only problem is to decide, where to go!
We reached easily the city center by train for sightseeings and were happy to spend the evenings in Kreuzberg – for us the „true“ Berlin.
Thank you Juan for everything!

About the Host, Juan
I am living in BERLIN for more than a decade and think that this city is amazing.
SPORT is my favorite activity (jogging, cycling, swimming...). I have a degree in philosophy and work as a vegetarian COOK.
Love good music and meeting new and interesting people.
I have been living in many different places (London, Paris, Mallorca, Cologne...) and want that people coming in my place feel at HOME as I wish when I travel.
