Very sunny apartment with a bedroom with one bed for two people and a living room with two beds (BEDSHEETS are included), kitchen and bathroom with SHOWER (TOWELS incl.),which is located in the lively district of Kreuzberg SO36 with many cafes, restaurants and bars around. The sightseeing attractions East Side Gallery (Berlin Wall) and Oberbaumbrücke are close-by. The metro stations Görlitzer Bahnhof and Schlesisches Tor U1 are just 5min walking distance away. The Ostbahnhof railway station is very easy to reach, and there is a bus (the 265) outside the front door. Carpark ist no problem in the street. The house (1890) is very quiet and in a very central location.
In the apartment there is a WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION (incl.) and we provide you with a local MOBILE PHONE ( all we ask you is that you leave the credit you use on the table when you leave) The kitchen is equipped with a WASHING MACHINE, DRYING RACK, DISHWASHER, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, coffee machine, cooker with oven and toaster. The bathroom has a Shower and there is also a HAIRDRYER. Bedroom and hallway each have a wardrobe. From the living room you can also see Berlins famous trademark the Fernsehturm. What makes this apartment unique are the colors in which the various rooms are decorated –bedroom with a rough wall in red shade, bathroom with a ceiling in navy-blue and gold, kitchen in light-blue and living room in red-orange with gold– and the old floorboard (1890).
The Eisenbahnstraße begins at the Lausitzer Platz where every Friday an organic farmer's market with fresh products of the region take place. There you can find such things as: a vegetarian restaurant (Café V) a very beloved ice cream café (tanne B) with Bioeis and ice cream for vegans , and many other restaurants and the beautiful Emmaus church (Emmaus Church in 1893 by August Orth). In the middle of the street is the Markthalle IX where every friday and saturday there is a street-market. The street ends at the Kopenickerstrasse (very close to the apartment), on the corner to the Heeresbäckerei (1893) from the Prussian era, and next the short Brommystraße. The Brommystrasse ends on a plateau by the Spree river, with a great view, where the former Brommybrücke was. In the borough there are also many expressions of street art very appreciated all over the world.
To walk or jog, there are two parks in the neighborhood: the Grörtlitzer Park ( 500m) and the Treptow Park (2km.)
There are 2 BIKES(incl.) that you can use.
For food-shopping, there are three well-known supermarkets nearby. Also at the other side of the Lausitzer Platz, in the Skalitzer Straße you will find a organic food store (Naturkost).
We beg our guest not to use normal shoes inside the apartment because of the old floorboard. We provide you with slippers.
It´s important to note that nighttime peace goes from between 9 pm and 6 am in the morning so we kindly ask you to pay attention to the noise you make and try to keep quiet.
La casa esta bien equipada. todo funciona de maravillas. Es un gusto volver desde los paseos. El barrio esta muy bien ubicado cerca de todo. Supermercados, bares, y una gran comodidad.
We really enjoyed our stay in Juan's lovely, bright, and well-equipped flat. It had everything we needed and the location was fabulous for exploring different parts of the city. Juan left us lots of information about things in the immediate area (grocery stores, cafés, public transport) and checking in and out was really easy and convenient. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Berlin.
A great place with history in a fantastic location. The local market hall is amazing and the whole stay was everything we'd hoped for. We would recommend Juan's place to anyone who is more interested in getting a feel for Berlin, not just to be a tourist.
Appartement très propre, bien équipé et idéalement situé pour découvrir tout Berlin à vélo et le quartier de kreuzberg à pied. Le prêt du vélo est un vrai plus. A faire les yeux fermés.
We had a great stay at Juan's apartment. We took full advantage of the two bikes he provided- they were well maintained and comfortable. The listing was very convenient for two friends, as there was plenty of sleeping space for us both.
Juan was also very kind and helpful when I asked him to be our point of contact for the airline after my bag had been lost. He was more than willing to help- great communication!
Thanks for everything, Juan!
the stay in Juan's apartment was great
the apartment is clean and nice and cosy
close to two subway stations and very well located in a beatiful area in Kreuzberg east
there is a market and plenty of restaurants in the surronding area
I recommend !!
A very nice place, clean and cosy. The place was perfect for a trip to Berlin, the appartment had everything that you needed.
The location was very central, and on the other site of the street was the Markethalle, a place that was full on at thursday night, because there was everything you could ask for to eat.

I am living in BERLIN for more than a decade and think that this city is amazing.
SPORT is my favorite activity (jogging, cycling, swimming...). I have a degree in philosophy and work as a vegetarian COOK.
Love good music and meeting new and interesting people.
I have been living in many different places (London, Paris, Mallorca, Cologne...) and want that people coming in my place feel at HOME as I wish when I travel.
