Merci
Juan's flat was very comfortable and in a great location. However, we did experience an unfortunate issue during our stay: A friend of Juan's manages the flat for him. We were told that our check out time was at 12h, but she came to the flat at 11h and simply let herself in, without knocking, while we were still asleep. I'm sure it was just a miscommunication between her and Juan, but it created an unpleasant invasion of privacy that we certainly didn't appreciate.
Sorry, Colin it was my fault, forgot to tell Susanne you were checking out at 12. She just was in a hurry, next guest were checking in between 13-14h.
Colin:"Hey Juan. I very much appreciate the offer, but would not feel comfortable accepting. Mistakes happen, and the gesture of offering a full refund without being asked for any kind of compensation already makes up for the inconvenience we experienced. I will ask AirBnB if I can modify my review to let people know how responsible you were in dealing with this issue."
The apartment was perfect. Excellent flat in a peaceful and beautiful part of the Berlin. Ideal for both short and long stay.
We had a wonderful time, definitely recommend staying here!
Nice apartment in a great location, close to good cafes and bars. Peaceful at night, which was an added and unexpected bonus! Juan is a great host - incredibly warm and welcoming.

About the Host, Juan
I am living in BERLIN for more than a decade and think that this city is amazing.
SPORT is my favorite activity (jogging, cycling, swimming...). I have a degree in philosophy and work as a vegetarian COOK.
Love good music and meeting new and interesting people.
I have been living in many different places (London, Paris, Mallorca, Cologne...) and want that people coming in my place feel at HOME as I wish when I travel.
