The room doesn't have a shower and an outside window in it.
The rooms are small. They are usually for people who live very simply not requiring bigger space. We are located near Seocho station, subway line No. 2.
You should share the shower, if you use a room without shower.
There are many law firms in Seocho, as there are supreme court, prosecutors’ office, courts in Seocho. Art center, the biggest one in Korea, and National Library is near our building. You can walk to Han River. It takes about 20-25 minutes. You can take a bus to Han River and it takes 5-10 minutes.
You can go to anywhere in Seoul using the subway system. Seocho subway station is one minute from the building. You can go to Itaewon using bus 740 at exit number 7 of Seocho station.
I would like to tell you how you come to the building.
Take limousine bus no. 6020 at the airport. Get off at Gyodae station (Seoul National University of Education). It would take about one and half hour from the airport. Take subway at the station and get off at Seocho station that is one stop from Gyodae st. Get out of exit No. 1 of Seocho Station. → Turn right at the first corner→ Turn left at the first corner. → You will find the sign board of '김밥천국(Kimbab Cheonguk)' Please enter the building.
You could use the subway system. Incheon Airport->Hongik University Station->Seocho Station.
You can use the followings free of charge: Internet, cooked rice, Korean soup, Kimchi, shared washing machine and detergent, cooking tools, gas, utility bills, a tv, a small fridge, water purifier, micro wave

If you're a glamorous princess, you should look for another place to stay, but if you're interested in a very cheap room to have a rest after walking all day in Seoul, Jin has a lot to offer. Jin's place is situated near the one of the Seocho station exit (literally 1 minute walk), therefore it's easy to find. No one bothered me (I was staying in for about a week). Well, yeah, it's a bit noisy. If you have some sleep disorder, you should ask Jin for a farthest room from the common bath. I guess it's a useful tip. Wi-Fi works good and steady.
Jin is a great host and friend, he gave me a lot of tips to get around Seoul and we went biking around a city. His hosting place is in great location, very close to the subway as well where you can cover whole South Korea using it. You will also get free delicious soup and rice during your stay.
Jinwoo and his place is realy nice.
He is such a good and helpful person.
It was my first time in korea and he was helping me a lot with
his advices and his knowledge. He has always time for his guests and does everything to make their stay comfortable.
This place is nice. I really miss it.
Jingwoo is a great host.. Very responsive via email and available in his office... Room is cheap and a safe place to put your stuff... Wouldnt complain for what i was paying
The economical persons choice. Just a bed to sleep, shower to shower and a safe place to leave your stuff. Perfect for anyone who just wants to explore Seoul all day.
Jinwoo is a very nice host. He speaks English well, and is a very helpful host.
As for the room, you literally get what you pay for, which in this case: 4 walls and a bed. Do note that the space is very limited though. Privacy wise its alright apart from the thin walls but this is a really good place for people who just want a place to sleep for the night and nothing more.
The shared bathroom and toilets are kept pretty clean too. So overall its not too bad for the price.
It was my first visit to Seoul and I travel by myself. The local seems unapproachable but I was surprised to know Jinwoo speaks fluent English like no other Korean does and he guided me a lot about his city. I'm so glad to know him that I can rely to. What impressed me most was his quick respond to every messages I sent right before the reservation, during my stay and till my last day stay.. In the afternoon during my check out, Jinwoo helped me to carry down my luggage from level 4 to the level 1 as there is no elevator in the building.
If this going to be your first visit to Seoul, please be prepared to accept the culture shock and the size of the room. Most of Korean rooms are small, so does Jinwoo's place but it provides you the privacy and good for single travelers just like me. Compared to other houses, I've found out that this room provides all the necessity that I was looking for such as very close walking distance to Seocho subway Green Line 2 and the cheap price which no other hosts can beat. I really like the free fragrant Korean rice. The rice smell very nice and I have it everyday because I know I can't taste the same rice when I get home.
I hope to have a good host like Jinwoo for my next trip to Sydney.
Really near subway.
Was good value for the price. if you dont mind the lack of window could be perfect. Jinwoo was friendly and we had a nice chat, a good host. i liked the rooftop and the place is very close to the station, so is easy to travel around seoul. a 20 min or less walk to the river and gangnam station. would be happy to stay there again.
Jin's place is a hotel, pretty much.
I liked the tiny rooms; I pride myself in not needing too much space.
Everything is good, except maybe the bathrooms could use a good, in-depth scrubbing. Regularly. And the kitchen is not very well stocked, though the free food is really nice!
