Its been a pleasure to stay at this truly charming room in central Vilnius. One can clearly see how much love and care have invested the landlords into creating a special nostalgic and romantic environment. I liked studying different retro subjects that were exhibited here. And the hosts were very nice and welcoming. My experience would be not full if I stayed at some other, more modern place.
Vilnius is a really beautiful city and it was so great to discover it living a couple of days at Marija's home. Should you want to be in a charming little house and feel homely, that's the right place. Marija was really nice, she send me all information how to get to her place, where to eat and what to see. You can have breakfast at her place which is nice and the dog & cat are so lovely.
Kind regards, Eglantine
Aleksandra and Marija made me feel very welcome in lots of quiet thoughtful little ways, like some distant metropolitan relatives I might have been visiting but don't know very well. Everything was as described in the ad, only no photo or description can quite capture the quiet sense of beauty, culture and calm they create in their home. Also it's a great location for exploring off the beaten track - I recommend a stroll across the nearby bridges to the other side of the river, through the little streets of wooden houses in Zverynas and Snipiskes (google it). It was a real privilege to stay with Aleksandra and Marija during my short visit. Oh yes - and they love tea!
Very friendly and helpful people! The house was clean and the room very nice. My girlfriend and me enjoyed it!
