My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Cathy’s apartment. Without a doubt the best thing about the apartment is the view of the river Clyde. Absolutely wonderful! Cathy was great in responding to questions and was very kind and helpful during the whole process.
The apartment was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need to cook a full meal. The breakfast supplies provided were very much appreciated. However, there is a lot of clutter, something which some people may find homely and others may find a little too much. Although the bathrooms very lovely and modern the decor in the other rooms could do with updating. There is too much furniture in the main bedroom and the sitting room and in the kitchen the crockery needs to be replaced as some of it is chipped. The location of the apartment is excellent; we were able to walk to most places during our stay. However, it is very close to the train station which means it is very noisy, definitely not for light sleepers.
A bit sorry that you don't like the decor in my apartment. I bought it new less than 7 years ago and i was doing the paint and the decor as I like them (because it's not an apartment boutique, this is my second home).
Some guests asked me for light cutlery for children and I bought some. However, being only 2 in my place, I'm quite sure that you found some at your taste.
For my masterbedroom (25m²), it seems to me that a bed, 2 bedside tables, a small sofa (some guests like to read), an exercise plate (some guest enjoy it) & a cot in a corner is not too much. For the sitting room, I would not like to have my guests sitting on the floor when they are 6. Myself I need 2 desks, using 2 computers when I work home.
For the noise, City Centre is City Centre, but in the main bedroom, it came from a tiny gap close to the wall. It's now fixed. The curtains are sound proofing.
The second bedroom, my granddaughter's one is much quiet, being on the back and is decorated in her taste (she is 4 years old).
Kind regards, CATHY
Cathy was prompt and considerate in each communication.
The apartment was amazing and the view, breathtaking.
Excellent communication and warm welcome from Robert when we arrived. Amazing view - restful and comfortable stay
We easily found the property after a very short walk from Central station. We had a friendly and helpful greeting from Cathy who had provided everything. We were made to feel at home straight away. The apartment is very well situated with spectacular views over the river. All central attractions are easily within walking distance, as are a wide variety of places to eat. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable and we had a most enjoyable stay.
Felt very welcomed, even though I arrived in Glasgow quite late. Cathy was very warm and welcoming. The apartment was well maintained and spacious. Situated only a couple minutes walk from the centre it was ideal for my needs.
I spent two nights at Cathy’s apartment. The apartment is located directly in the city centre, so everything incl. the Central Station (but also University of Glasgow in case you like a nice walk) is in walking distance. The apartment itself is very cosy, the room I stayed in is spacious including an own bathroom and the view is just amazing. Cathy was not there but everything was prepared perfectly. I will for sure reach out to Cathy in case I come back to Glasgow and you should definitely do the same. Thanks Cathy!
Amazing views, great host, good location, lovely apartment. Extra benefits were a baby cot and high chair. :)
