About This Listing
This medium sized studio will set you in the middle of everything that is important in the centre of Seville. VERY near the Cathedral, the Alcazar, on the edge of Santa Cruz neighbourhood, it will allow you to explore the city from it's very heart.
Come and stay in this spacious studio in a dream location, a stone throw away from the Cathedral (266 metres, according to my GPS).
The studio is set in the middle of everything that made you want to visit Seville: the historical sites, the museums, the bars, the terraces. In addition, it is a couple of streets away from a supermarket, which is uncommon in the city centre.
The studio is designed for 2 people, but if you are 3, i will put matress on the floor for you. I used to provide an inflatable bed, but after 3 punctures in 2 weeks i have given up inflatable.
The place is made up so you dont have to worry about much... after all you are on holiday, arent you?.
There is wifi.
I make sure you will find cooking basics in the little kitchen, a washing machine with detergent, a hairdryer, and other details I though you will find convenient. Bed linen and towels are included, of course.
I hope you enjoy your stay!
CHECK IN TIME:Flexible. But if you are coming early please check with me! I charge extra 15 € on arrival for arrivals after 22:00. (This modification was added on the 09/04/2015. If you have booked prior to that, I will not charge that amount)
CHECK OUT: Before 13:00. But it is flexible too. If you are leaving late check with me and we will try to arrange something with your cases.
I accept last minute bookings (with less than 24 hours advance), but I charge extra 10€ cash on arrival. 10€ for the booking, NOT PER NIGHT.
I will give you a 30 minute induction about Seville on your arrival. I provide a local map (my favourite version, the most exhaustive I have found). The induction is adjusted to the length of your stay, of course!! I include info on things to see and my local favourite places to eat... I always get hungry when I go through it!
The flat is in the centre. The VERY centre. Everything you want to see is within walking distance.
Public transport around the centre is limited. You will understand once you get here.
Rocio is a wonderful host! She was very kind and welcoming when we arrived, making sure that we were comfortable in the apartment before she left. The apartment itself was exactly as described, and appears just like the photos. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location of the apartment is great for tourists, as it is very near to the typical tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend this apartment and Rocio as a host!
Rocio was very welcoming and friendly. When we first met her she gave us a warm welcome. She also took her time to give us a map of Seville and explain places to go. She gave us a thorough explanation of places, which was very helpful. The place was located at the central of Seville so it was convenient but quite a walk from the metro/autobuses. The place was clean and had all the necessary stuff. Thank you for your hospitality Rocio!
The appartment was good and well located. Rocio was accommodating on the check-in hour but the clean up wasn't done when we arrived in the appartment, it was a bit embarassing...
Rocio’s appartement is, with no doubt, very well located in the center of Sevilla. It is rather spacious for a studio and very luminous. There is a supermarket nearby which makes things very easy for daily life. But we have to admit we were a bit disappointed by the overall experience. Even tough she was present through sms and emails, we did not meet Rocio at all during our four day stay. On arrival, nobody was waiting for us and the appartement was not ready. When we contacted Rocio, she was even surprised that we were there despite the sms we sent with time of arrival and confirmation of reception from her side. We have to underline that Rocio was prompt on finding solution : a neighbour who has the keys came in a few minutes and we were at least able to put our luggage in the appartement. Mistakes can of course happened. But above all, we would strongly suggest Rocio to better maintain the studio for renting : to repaint the ceiling of main room and bathroom both to avoid disgracious peeling paint ; to change the shower tray which is old and with chipped off enamel, to change the bulbs when they are fused – half of the lights were not working in the main room. Same in the bathroom - . It would be also good that she pays a bit more attention to decoration and furniture to make the studio more cosy – it might be better to have no armchairs at all than two old ones not even matching or no bedside table than one with partially stripped off lamination etc.
We came to the conclusion that this studio might be more adapted for young persons than people in their fifties like us, maybe more concerned by how a place should be kept.
Estudio correcto y sencillo situado en pleno centro. Cumple lo que promete.
Rocio is perpect~ she gave me map of seville with every information. good restaurant, supermarket, etc..
room rocation is great. it is so convenience to get everywhere.
room has everything.
But room has something bad. it was too noisy. actually extremely noisy. loud car is never stop, cleaning machine car is 4am-6am, downstairs restaurant people talking too loud until 1am. I felt i sleep middle of highway.

About the Host, Rocio
When I joined Airbnb I was asked to fill a questionaire. One of the questions was "What impact has Airbnb had in your life?". I reckon my answer was literally "Ask me in a couple of months time".
It has been a short while now and I can say I AM LOVING IT!! I host essentially for the money: my flat needs some improvements my wages cannot cover, but the side effects are top: the people I have had around are great, completelly crashing my scary-dream expectations, the opportunity to share my inside knowledge of the city is a pleasure (although some the guests have proved to know way more than me), I once even got a proffessional guided tour to my own local museum (my host was a phd student specialised in Sevillian baroque painters), and (finally) my house is the cleanest it has ever been! Ok, not my room or the storage room, which are the way they have always been, but yes the rest of the house.
Can you ask for more? I cant recommend it enough.
