Artevere is a new structure that offers its guests all the comfort you need to spend a pleasant staying in one of the liveliest areas of the city.
On the first floor without a lift of a building in the heart of Trastevere, the property offers 2 studios that can hold each one up to 3 persons provided with bedroom, kitchen area (where you will find the necessary for breakfast: milk, bread, butter and jam) and bathroom.
For those arriving by car the day you can find free parking on the street.
Artevere provides 2 flats for up to three people, consisting of a bedroom with one double bed and a single one, kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning, television with playstation3, computer with internet, and of course wificonnection, phone and refrigerator.
The property is located in the Trastevere area in the heart of Rome's nightlife, suitable for a stay in which entertainment and tourism may mix themselves perfectly.
Close to the apartment you can find a several bus stops that connect to the city center and Termini station; very close also the railway station of Trastevere really convenient for connections to Fiumicino Airport.
The apartment is beautiful, completely customized by Domenico himself so that you get optimal use and comfort out of a small space. The wooden floors and ceiling beams are a gorgeous contrast to the modern stained-glass mosaic lighting fixtures. The bed is large and super comfortable, and the bathroom even has a switch that turns on jazz music while you shower!
You also can't beat the location--it's just a few minutes to all of the main tourist attractions (Colosseo, Pantheon), right next to the river (gorgeous views at night) and right at the top of one of the best bar and restaurant scenes in Rome. I had a bike so I could explore the city at will, but I rarely found the need to leave this area for nightlife.
Domenico is also a great host. He comes and cleans regularly, and if there's anything you need at all he's only a text away. I was expecting a delivery of something that didn't come on time, and he went so far as to call the company for me to track it and then arranged for a friend to be in the building in case it came and I wasn't around--waaay above and beyond the usual level of service! He also gave me great tips for the area, and volunteered to make calls in Italian for me (for reservations, etc) if I ever needed it.
Great experience, would definitely come back over and over again!
Domenico's apartment was extremely convenient. Within walking distance to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza Novana, Campo di Fiore & the Trevi Fountain. Also very close to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Arch of Constantine, and Vittoriano (about a 20 min walk). Easy access to public transportation as well. In the apt, there is also a phone you could use to call for a taxi or call him if you have any questions. He also provides tourist books, some dvds to watch, and a computer to use in the apt.
In the bathroom, you have the option to play some jazz music, so it was nice and relaxing to turn it on while in the shower. The place was relatively clean and has wifi. Domenico was also very nice, responded very quickly and offered suggestions for restaurants and things that we could do while in Rome.
Domenico was a great host and the apartment is in a perfect location in Trastevere, near the Tiber & the local night life, the tram & bus stop is a 3 minute walk with easy access to Termini, Piazza Venezia & Stazione Trastevere. Perfect secluded tiny courtyard and the place had all the amenities needed, bed was comfortable enough. Sheets & towels were changed after 3 days. Easy communication with Domenico, I recommend the place for your next stay in Rome.
Domenico is really a genuine person, the flat is very well arranged and very beautifull. So for the flat, I'd say
the plus: The location in trastevere but 5 min walk from the historic center, the flat wich is very great with all comfort and facilities, big bed, very very quiet (wich is important in Rome!)
The less: the ligh is a bit missing in the flat, and there was a bit of bad smell coming from the bathroom.
Tks Domenico for the stay, we really enjoy Rome thanks to you!
Domenico was a really friendly guy - plenty of contact before our visit and he outlined a straight-forward way to get to the apartment using public transport rather than using an expensive taxi. Domenico also gave us plenty of tips for restaurants and bars to visit in the area. Trastevere is a great area to visit both for strolling during the day and also for it's nightlife. This was our first visit to Rome and I would highly recommend it.
Appartamento carinissimo, curato in ogni dettaglio. ottima zona prezzo assolutamente ragionevole. E Domenico è stato disponibilissimo. Siamo spesso a Roma, sicuramente terremo in considerazione questo appartamento anche per le prossime volte!
My 13 year old daughter and I spent two nights at Domenico's apartment a month ago. It was perfect; no more than 25 minutes walk from all the major attractions and in a great location for wandering and eating in the evening. We loved the slightly eccentric touches like the music in the shower and the fish tank in the side of the staircase. Domenico himself was a friendly, accommodating and non-intrusive host. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
Great location. Nice and quircky flat.Very clean. Domenico was generous with his time giving advice about local events etc. It was possible to leave luggege after the checking-out time. Highly recommended
Molto pulito, carino e bellissimo quartiere. Domenico molto disponibile. Grazie!
Great location to base Rome adventures from. It's an internal apartment which was fine for us but if you plan to be at the apartment a lot, it probably wouldn't be a good fit. Domenico was very helpful and an excellent host. We didn't need to contact him for anything but got the sense that if anything went wrong, he'd be very responsive.
