Villa Amalia is located on the first line of the beach, in an exclusive residential area 1.5 km from the city center. It is a palace of the XIX century of colonial style in its south facade and of eclectic style in north facade. It has a Mediterranean garden with orange groves, medlars, lemon trees, mangoes, figs and aromatic plants, there is a fountain of the same period, totally restored that decorates and refreshes the garden.

Located in front of the beach in an exclusive residential area, very quiet. There are restaurants serving traditional Spanish, Argentine and Japanese food as well as tapas (all within a 3 minute walk). On the beach there are two restaurants on either side of Villa Amalia, to the east the restaurant ("chiringuito") called "Oasis "And to the west is the beach bar" La Caleta "both 3 minutes from Villa Amalia, beach hammocks, umbrellas, showers and services (wc). There are Supermarkets, Pharmacies and Hospitals, all within walking distance.
