About the Host, Barbara
I am a Dutch girl, born and bred in England, now living with my Argentine partner in Patagonia, in the Andes mountains.
We are enjoying life here in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
We love the outdoors and everything this area has to offer.
Mountain biking, hiking, visiting natures spectacles, kayaking, fishing and many more things. We compete in long distance adventure races, which are amazing as you get to pass through areas of the mountain otherwise hidden from the public.
We are expecting our first child, and this is why we are offering our beautiful house to rent. Usually we work it as a bed and breakfast, offering also full attention as unofficial guides to allow guests to get to know the mountains we love, off the beaten track. We also have good contacts for fly fishing and big game hunting.
Our style of travelling is always to grasp opportunities that open up, go without too many concrete plans and always always ask the locals............ And listen! This goes for life too!
As hosts we like to make sure that any visitor gets the most possible out of their visit, according to their interests and reasons for coming.
