Amazing view, sound of the surf, well-stocked apartment and as described. Owner's brother and girlfriend met us and gave us an orientation and suggestions. A lot of little things were appreciated such as paper towels, coffee and two ways to make it, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies, hair dryer, drying rack and clothes pins, etc. The hostess even sent a welcome bottle of wine, perhaps because it was my birthday.

It was Rosella's son who welcomed us in the evening. We were a bit late because of the car rental but still he waited for us for one hour more. We really appreciated. The apartment is great, the view is splendid.

A wonderful apartment (our favourite out of the three we stayed in during our trip). Rossella and her son Matia welcomed us personally and were on hand to help us with anything from collecting an important piece of mail to recommendations on where to eat etc. The sea view from the balcony was staggering.

I travelled with my family of 4 adults at the end of September to Sicily and stayed in Rossella's beautiful and well-equipped apartment. All the communication leading up to the trip was easy and fast. As soon as we arrived, we found parking on the street (something Rossella could suggest for future guests, as we were not sure if we were looking for a driveway) and walked up to the door. Mattia, Rosella's son, met us immediately with a warm welcome and toured us around the entire apartment. Mattia answered all of our questions and showed us how all the appliances worked. We are from Canada and had a small rental car. The width of the streets in the village are worth noting as it is very tight driving (what we would consider a 1 lane road in Canada is a 2 or 3 lane road in Stazzo!) and completely blind corners, so you have to inch out to avoid getting side-swiped. All drivers traveled at a reasonable speed for the roads, although many locals had doors banged in from minor accidents. The village of Stazzo was small but hustling with locals and few tourists. The village is a 5 minute stroll down the sidewalk along the sea. It was nice to have a restaurant and a cafe within walking distance. We went to the restaurant twice, and enjoyed it both nights for it's service, atmosphere and other guests that filled its seat. Food was fine, not bad, and not the best I had in Sicily, but good enough to go back twice! There are a few markets (convenience stores) on the street just behind the apartment, a 3 minute walk, perfect for getting necessities. There is a bigger grocery store 2.7 km away. My sister and I made a morning of it and ran there one way, went for lunch on a patio on the sea close by, then did grocery shopping, then walked back. We sat on the balcony of the apartment every day and night and watched the sea and the people. The apartment is quiet for sleeping and the air conditioning was welcomed. There are 2 showers and I only showered in the red bathroom. It is quite small, i.e. hard to shave your legs without your head hitting the wall or into the curtain. The hot water was never quite hot, but it was fine considering how warm it was. We love to cook, and found the kitchen fairly well stocked. They are missing a Chef Knife which would be a good investment! My Dad, 72, was missing a microwave. For 4 adults, we would have liked to have a larger coffee percolator, as it took about 30 minutes to prepare enough coffee for the 4 of us, in the 2 small percolators they have. They make incredible coffee! There is also a coffee machine thingy that takes the pods, but we ran out of pods, and we'd much prefer to brew our own.

The location was perfect, in a small but very lively (but not noisy) resort. The apartment was right on the sea front and you could use a public bathing platform almost across the road. The beach is rocky but still very nice. The apartment was excellent with everything you could want including a balcony and a roof terrace as well as good air conditioning, two bathrooms and nice kitchen sitting room area. Rosella and her son showed us the place and were very hospitable and friendly and we even got a little souvenir of Sicily. They gave us all the information we wanted and left their number with us in case we needed anything else. We used this as a base to climb up Etna which is about half hour's drive away. What we liked about the village was that is seemed to be mainly a resort for Italians and it just had a really cheerful atmosphere and a couple of good restaurants. We were told that there are other little towns worth visiting within a short distance but didn't do that ourselves. Finally there is a locked off street parking spot that can be used if there isn't room on the road outside. All in all we would highly recommend this to anyone.

We (couple and 4 year old daughter) were warmly welcomed by Rossella and her son Mattia, who even helped us with the luggage. They explained us everything very well and were helpful to provide us with all kind of practical and other information. Whenever we needed advice, they were very reactive, so we were well cared for. The appartment matches exactly the description and has indeed a superb view. Just the other side of the (low traffic) road, there are several wooden bridges and stone accesses to the sea, so just perfect to go shortly for a swim (which is exactly what we like). But even if you want to stay for longer, there's no problem to do so. The best about this flat is the village Stazzo itself, which is, so it seemed to us, a part where Sicilians live and where are less tourists. There is a flair of little fishermens village, as well as a bit of an animated quarter of a city ... and, above all, people are very friendly and helpful, although we nearly didn't speak Italian. The neighbours downstairs let us feel part of them ... just adorable! We'd absolutely go back to EXACTLY that place, Rossellas lovely appt!

Before the guests arrive take care of my apartment in great detail, I wish that they find themselves at ease with all the comforts.
I love art, reading and my house there are always plants and flowers that he was personally. I love the colors match, so if the bathoroom is orange will find the orange towels.C'is the service of multi-lingual tv, for evenins spent in home, and internet service. If you do not want to rent the car there is e shuttle service from the airport to the house.
You look wonderful in Sicily!
