A wonderful 1000sq foot apartment and is the place I call home. It has a wonderful and cozy, sun drenched living room, a beautiful dining room with gorgeous Queen-Anne Victorian moldings and bump out, gourmet kitchen off the large side porch, a culinary garden, and large bathroom with washer and dryer.
When you arrive you will almost immediately feel at home, with a large dining table and plenty of books to read. A couch and stereo to relax and read the paper. French press for your coffee and plenty of room in the fridge and pantry items to make your own meals.
There is a super comfortable queen size bed for 2.
My apartment is the first floor of a large Queen Anne Victorian home in art enclave, Collingswood, NJ. There are 2 parking spaces behind the house. It is located just two blocks from the Theater district business section, that includes the James Beard nominated restaurant, Zeppoli and one of the best Indian food restaurants I know of Inde Blue. A short walk from the acclaimed theater, The Scottish Rite. It is about a mile away from 2 speedline stations that take you into center city Philadelphia, and 3 blocks from the bus stop that takes you there. 5 blocks from beautiful Knights Park, and within walking distance to Collingswood's hip downtown with restaurants, cafes, bakeries, library, farmers market, and shopping.
If you have a car, the apartment is 10 minutes to Center City via the Ben Franklin Bridge, and 5 minutes from South Philly via the Walt Whitman bridge. It is also 50 minutes from Atlantic City, on the Jersey Shore.

Guests have access to 2 off-street parking spots (driveway is shared with upstairs tenants), side and back porch, and yard. The grill is available for use, but if you're the last to use up the tank we ask that you refill/replace it.
The front porch and remaining two parking spots in driveway are off limits.
Parties are not permitted.
Apartment is not suited for families with small children and unfortunately, will not be accepted. I recommend staying at the Haddonfield Inn for families.
Interaction with Guests
Typically, you can arrive anytime after 9:00am and let yourself in. However, this is not always the case, please specify your desired check in and check out times in your inquiry to book. You will be provided with instructions to retrieve the key.
I will be located off site during your stay, but I am accessible via email or text for any issues that may arise.
Check-out is equally as easy and flexible.

What I love about my neighborhood and my house is the community spirit. Every weekend, especially Spring through Fall, there are many activities happening right in town. If it is not the weekly farmers market, it is the Bike Share fundraiser. If not that, it is the Second Saturday Arts Walk and Gallery shows. If not that, it is simply pleasant to walk in and around the town's streets seeing who is making what and exploring many of Collingswood's beautiful historic Victorians. I love the many delicious eateries, the Best of Sushi at Sagami, the James Bear nominated, Zeppoli, the best Indian in the Northeast at IndeBlue, the most colorful music scene at the Scottish Rite and The Factory. The list goes on!

Spring thru Fall Suggestion for FUN! Join the Collingswood Bike Share, 707 N Atlantic Ave Collingswood, NJ 08108 - while you are here. From their (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) page "A $25 Collingswood Bikeshare Membership gets you a rented bike for 1 year which at the end you may renew again for another $25. Your Bike Share Bike gets free fixes during Bikeshare hours and you may trade it in for another bikeshare bike if your so wish." It's so cheap! Why not? The town is such a beautiful place to roam!
Convenient to the Patco Speedline train that takes you from Lindenwold, NJ to Center City Philadelphia. The apartment is within 1 mile of 2 Speedline stations. And 2 blocks from a NJ Transit bus stop. That said, guests have mentioned they prefer having a car.
By car, we are located within 10 minutes of both the Ben Franklin and Walt Whitman bridges into Philadelphia. 15 minutes from the NJ Turnpike I-95. 5 minutes to the North-South Freeway-Atlantic City Expressway to the Jersey Shore. We are 90 miles from Manhattan, NYC (1 hour 45 minutes).
If you require directions from any location not listed or listed, please let me know. I will try to help as best I can, as I travel for work and have some insight as to the latest detours, etc... I am happy to help.

There is not a microwave in the kitchen. The stove is electric not gas (I know..).

Simply put, this is my home that has a lot of one of a kind furniture. I ask that you treat my home like you would your home with great respect, and adherence to the simple rules.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please note: Due to recent experiences, I must note that my home will not be rented to anyone intending to host gatherings, dinner parties, parties in general, visitors, or guests. I apologize, but it is strictly prohibited. The renting is only for use of the guests who have booked. No one else is permitted on the property at any time. Violation of this rule will result in additional charges. No exceptions. Please consider the rules of the house before booking.
No smoking at all times, there is a no smoking rule on the entire premises. This is mostly due to my severe allergies to smoke. So we ask that no smoking even on the porches. If this does not suit you, please consider not booking. The security deposit will be kept if this is not adhered to.
The apartment is solely to be used by the guests listed only. No parties. No outside guests. No entertaining at the house.
Parking: Please only use the 2 spots closest to the back porch (the apartment entrance) and park parallel to the house to allow for the upstairs tenants to also have 2 spots further back.
Keys: They are located in a lock box on the back porch. You will receive the code upon confirmation of the reservation.
Wifi: Network and PW - will be provided once confirmed. Once on the network you can stream music to the stereo in the living room.
Please be respectful of the neighbors upstairs. They have two parking spaces towards the back of the driveway. Keep the driveway open for cars at ALL times. Cars will be towed at owners expense.
Please leave keys on the dining room table or in the lock box when leaving.
Please leave all towels on bathroom towel racks, or hamper in the bathroom.
Please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00pm - 10:00am.
No pets (sorry allergies again), I mean absolutely. That and no smoking.
Kitchen: Pots and Pans are available to use, but please use them responsibly as they are expensive to replace. Dishes and glasses are located in the china cabinet in the dining room. Please feel free to use all pots and pans, but please clean all dishes and pans before leaving.
Directions for French Press Coffee: Boil lots of water in kettle. 4 heaping scoops for the large French Press, 2 heaping scoops of coffee for the small french press. Place coffee in french press, gently pour boiling water into carafe up to an inch before rim, gently stir with a wooden spoon, rest strainer/plunger on top while coffee steeps for 4 minutes. Very, very, very gently push plunger down to strain coffee (disclaimer: it will spurt out if you press too hard or too fast, so be very cautious!). Coffee is ready!
Feel free to use the BBQ and clip some rosemary, thyme, or oregano for your meal.
Please take all trash to our to trash cans on the side of the house.
Non-adherence to any of the above rules will increases the probability in deductions in security deposit
