  • Deborah's appartment is located in a quiet street, but nearest to bars and restaurants. Check-in and out was without problems and Deborah was very quick to resolve problems with the wifi. We recommend her appartment!

  • Deborah's lovely apartment was perfect for our 11 night stay.
The West Village area is filled with charm and so many great restaurants, bars and shopping choices.
The apartment feels quite spacious even though it is small (which is what you expect in New York) and it was very clean. The size is perfect for 2 people.
I always felt very safe in the area and my husband and I were surprised how safe and clean New York is in general.
It was so fun to stay in a traditional New York apartment just like in the movies!
When we return to New York (hopefully soon!) we would love to be able to stay in Deborah's apartment again.
Highlights if the area are Bleecker Street (so close), Greenwich Village (great restaurants like the Spotted Pig and Aria), the subway is super close, citibikes are an amazing way to get around the city, the list goes on!
    Thanks Deborah :)

  • Great apartment - we had an amazing 6 days. We stayed at an East Village hotel when we returned to New York and it was more than twice the price and nowhere near as (website hidden) Lukes Place is a perfect location - we could see the Empire State Building from the window. Great living room. Small kitchen and bathroom, as typical of New York. Easy collection of keys from a nearby address. Lots of clean towels. Loved the West Village. We walked all over New York from here. Really close to High-Line, lots of good bars and restaurants. And a stone's throw from Houston Street subway. And the cocktails and staff at Little Branch at the end of the street were fabulous! Stay here with confidence.

  • We had a very pleasant stay in NY.
Deborah was very nice and helpful, always available if we had any question.
The apartment is very convenient for a couple with a large room with lots of light. The kitchen and bathroom are quite small but just fine. The room is small also but what matters the most is the bed, which was comfy.
And the most important thing: the quietness of the place, you won't believe you are in NY...
    Looking forward to be back.

  • This apartment was absolutely PERFECT for our stay in NYC. I recommend it for anyone who wants to feel like they live in New York, but just out of the hustle and bustle. The location is fantastic - so close to shopping on Bleeker & in Soho, and just a short walk to the high line, meatpacking, and midtown.

We stayed for 11 nights here and had an absolutely fantastic time. The apartment is quite beautiful both from the outside & in (though the staircase & foyer areas are quite old and run down). That being said, inside the apartment is lovely with high ceilings & good lighting throughout the day. More than enough room for two of us (my boyfriend is quite tall but still didn't feel cramped). Small but fully equipped kitchen & bathrooms, and comfortable bed meant we were able to spend quite a bit of time in the apartment.

The only negative i would say was there was no real room to unpack our suitcases. While there is a walk-in wardrobe, most of it was full, and all drawers etc was full of Deborah's things. We did have some hanging space though, but being there for 11 nights meant we wanted to pack our suitcases away which we weren't able to.

Other than that, it was an absolutely perfect stay - i recommend to anyone who is looking for good value, the best location, living on beautiful streets and pretty accommodation.

  • We can't speak highly enough about our stay in Deborah's apartment. We spent 2 weeks there and as two women travelling together, felt extremely safe at all times. Although it is in such a fantastic area within easy walking distance to Bleecker Street and the many fantastic restaurants, bars, cafes and shops in West Village, it was extremely quiet. Unlike many apartments in this area full of bustling night life, this apartment is in a quiet street and overlooks a green rear garden so surprisingly for New York, sleeping was not a problem. We traveled the length and breadth of Manhattan and West Village with its meandering, tree-lined streets full of charming townhouses is undoubtedly the pick of areas to stay. Deborah was a fabulous host. Despite never having met her during our stay, she was most helpful negotiating with the airlines for us when our baggage went missing. Our check-in time in the middle of the night due to a late flight arrival was also not a problem as she had organised a 24 hour key pick up location. The walk to the any of the three subway stations took only a matter of minutes and again we felt perfectly safe using them day or night. This apartment is great value in an ideal location!
