Wonderful little bed and breakfast located within walking distance of Old Quarter. Very nice staff and very enjoyable experience. I will most definitely be back! Well worth the stay and they even loan you a bicycle as part of the package!
This family runned hotel was a very positive surprise.
It is a little faw away from the noise of the city center yet only minutes away from it by bike (which are provided by them).
Clean, very friendly and helpful staff, centrally located.
We would recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay with them again.
Stayed two nights here and it was ok.
On arrival i checked in fine after a short delay and then when i was ready to go into town there was no bikes left and had to walk 20-30mins to the main road and rent another bike. I then of course had to return the bike to where i rented it and walk back to the homestay. The location of this Homestay is not good if there is no bikes available and i recommend this homestay have more bikes for hire.
On the 2nd night their was a banging sound next door that lasted a while before it eventualy stopped when i banged next door to return the favour.
For these two reasons i give it a 3/5 as the rest of the homestay was good. Good receptionist and nice clean large rooms. it is more like a hotel then a homestay. I recommend they double the amount of bikes people can use and it will be highly recommended by me
The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is run more like a hotel than a home stay though. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Our main complaint came from the sewage smell that came from the bathroom. We have found that this is pretty common in our travels in Vietnam, but this one was a bit strong and it was always there when you walked in the room, although we did get used to it. We also found that our room was really loud. It was right on the street and was a bit much for me. It did not bother my husband. The hotel is also about a 20-25 minute walk into the center of town. it was a nice walk in and was fine for the few days we stayed there. There are bikes at no extra cost, and it was fun to ride through the rice fields that are right in the hotels backyard. Breakfast was simple, but good and enough to get your day started.
Nice place to stay if you want be close to the old city but far enough to to feel away from it. They do Laudey and serve breakfast which is nice. The lady who runs the place makes good coffee. They have an assortment if bicycles you can just grab and go and it's just a 5 min ride into the old city. TIP: Check the breaks before choosing your bike. Trust me ;)
