About the neighborhood
Vinohrady is a beautiful residential area of Prague that carries a reputation of prestige and elegance. It covers portions of Prague 2, 3, and 10. Most of its grand Neo-Renaissance, Art Nouveau, Pseudo Baroque, and Neo-Gothic buildings come from the second half of the 19th century and first half of the 20th century. Many have been and continue to be restored in an amazing array of color and architectural detail.

L ' appartamento è in un'ottima posizione , vicino alla fermata della metro! Molto pulita e proprietaria disponibile... Praga è una bellissima città da visitare
The apartment was an amazing space and was very modern and comfortable. The kitchen had a small fridge, stovetop and microwave with all the plates and cookware you would need. It was very spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. I would give this place five stars except for the small hiccup we had when first arriving at the apartment. We had made arrangements to meet someone at 9:30pm, but no one was there to meet us. To make a long story short, the employee who was supposed to meet us did not show up until after midnight to let us in. It wasn't a very fun experience for 2 people who were extremely exhausted from traveling and shivering in the cold, outside of the building. We were able to get in touch with the owner, and she apologized profusely and gave us wine, chocolate and a free taxi ride. She told us that the employee had also been let go. I really enjoyed the apartment and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again because I loved it so much. The location is close to a metro station (by an awesome looking church), restaurants and it is walking distance to downtown (25min).
Elena house was so much nicer than any hotel I've ever stayed at. Great location and they treated us well. I'd definitely stay there again.
The apartment is great, spacious, clean and very well located. It is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood but the bus stop and metro station is close by. Helena , the receptionist was very helpful.
Elema Residence was clean and bright. Check in was easy. I would stay again.
This flat is located in a beautiful part of Prague, Vinohrady. Its a quick walk to two metro stations and many tram stops. There are many neighborhood pubs in short walking distance. We decided to extend our stay and they were able to accommodate us by moving us to another flat.
Our stay at Elema House was very nice. The only thing I had to ask for was a hairdryer and this was there for my comfort in less than half an hour!
The house is located in a very nice area, far away from the tourist mess but close enough for a nice walk. The Metro is also very convenient, being the flat close to the Green Line that brings you in a short time to the centre as well as up to the Castle.
The evenings we spent in the local restaurants around Elema, very nice and cosy places, quiet and relaxing.
I definitely recommend this place!
A pleasant, quiet residential neighborhood in Prague, accessible to all the sites by a short walk and train/trams. It was clean, and we knew from the pictures and other reviews it was sparse.
However, the amenities listed a washer, which was important to us, as we were traveling light, and there was NO washer in the apartment. Instead, we had to pay 5 Euros for a small load to be done by the staff at the residence. It took over 24 hours, which wasn't convenient for us.
Additionally, we had intended to make our own breakfasts, but the kitchen lacked the simple necessity of a coffee maker (a Melita or French press would have been fine), so really, we had to incur more expenses by eating breakfast out each day.
Not all the pictures are of this apartment, but it is spacious. It's just lacking in a couch or comfy chair, so you either have to sit at the desk chair or in bed.
Receptionist was easy to contact and flexible with our arrival and departure.
This is not a home but is in an apartment hotel, with a helpful and patient professional manager, Jurad, but (to me at least) all was a little impersonal. There is an electric stove and water jug, a fairly good supply of kitchen utensils, and much storage space. It lacks a TV that longer-term guests would provide themselves. It looks like there is cable service, but of course almost everything will be in Czech. WiFi worked well. Lighting was a little dim in the bedroom. Nearby are shops (not shoppings) for food, clothes, etc., and various types of restaurants.
It is easy to get around, especially with a good guidebook. The Metro is fast if you can bear to lose the scenery. Connections to and from the airport may be a bit complicated as the apartment is a little out of the way - we had heavy luggage and were in a hurry, so booked a taxi, as recommended by Jurad, paying about US$30 for that option. There are other ways. Overall, this is an excellent base for a not too rushed stay in Prague, and a very good value for what you get.
Very clean and spacious. Takes a bit longer to walk to the subway station but still very close. Quiet and good location. Would recommend.
