Stay downtown and walk to Lake Michigan beaches, movie theaters, Mario Batali recommended restaurants, hike and bike trails, local bookstores, brewpubs, and more. We rent the upstairs bedroom, sitting room, and bath in our 125 year old home.
You won't find a more conveniently located property in Traverse City. We are adjacent to the Park Place Hotel, but offer all the comforts of home.
There is no smoking or vaping in the house or on the property. Pets not allowed as well.

Linda checked in with me before our stay to ensure we had the best experience during our visit. She even took the information I provided to make us a reservation at a local restaurant that was within easy walking distance and totally fulfilled our idea of a creative, tasty and unique dining experience. Linda, her home and our room were inviting and lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed talking to her and her husband the next morning. Can't wait to see them next time we are in the area!
Our stay was very enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, the location was walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and the host was vey friendly and recommended a number of great places to eat at.
Great location, very comfortable, very nice hosts! I recommend highly. Only caveat, steep stairs to second floor, not great location for older or physically challenged. Linda is very candid about this, I was a poor listener! :-)
We had a blast during the stay with Linda and Mike. The house is great, the bed is comfortable. Everything is beautiful~~
We had plenty of privacy and Linda and Mike try all possible ways to make us feel welcome and happy. And, the homemade breakfast was awesome.
I could not be happier with my choice.
They are wonderful people, I strongly recommend staying with them if you go traverse city.
OOO, it is just a few min away from everything. So, why not?
An absolutely delightful stay. Linda is a wonderful host, providing just the right blend of attention and privacy.
Her home is charming, and the location is great for wandering around Traverse City. The upstairs space had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We slept well.
Linda was kind enough to make sure we started our morning with fresh coffee and a little fresh fruit and ended our day with a nice cup of tea. Best of all, was the help Linda provided in making sure we got the most out of 48 hours in Traverse City. Even though we came well prepared, her course corrections for restaurants and sight-seeing were spot on.
Our communications with Linda prior to arrival were very helpful and check-in was a breeze.
This was our first visit to Traverse City and the weekend could not have been better. Thanks Linda.

Everything was perfect! We wanted to be able to walk to downtown & the shore, and they are so close! It was like visiting old college buddies, as Linda & Mike were excellent hosts! Don't bother if you're not into that. They are such good people, and we hope we can get back to TC to visit them again!
Professor and teacher couple thrilled to call Traverse City home. Between us we love food, films, books, biking, fly fishing, paddling, travel...did I say food?
