It's a very welcoming and comfortable space and it is designed to accommodate longer stays.
I strive for green living and avoid harsh cleaning agents whenever there is a good alternative.

Wireless high speed internet is included. A HDTV and Blu Ray/DVD player with access to Netflix, Pandora and other services is included, as well as a collection of DVD's available for use at no charge (we can have Netflix deliver DVD's on request too). I am happy to add other TV services or channels for longer stays on request.
No smoking and no pets. It only accommodates two adults and no children.
Please let me know if I can answer any questions regarding the house or the area. Dan is an experienced realtor and has lived in San Francisco and Marin all his life.
Viewing can be arranged easily, since I work from home.
Additional cleaning will be arranged every 2 weeks for longer stays and will be added to the total at time of reservation.
To comply with local regulations there will be an additional 12% tax applied to the nightly rate. This will be collected at check-in and in cash, to avoid additional Airbnb fees.
Interaction with Guests
I let guests decide how much interaction to have with me. I am available and happy to socialize but I respect the guests' need for privacy if they prefer to be on their own.
Strictly no smoking, no heavy drinking and no drugs.
I live on a narrow road in a quiet neighborhood. I am in close proximity to our neighbors and I expect low noise levels and absolutely no parties in the house.
Alessandra was a great host and the apartment was fantastic. When we first arrived, she had us over to her apartment to explain all of the details and get to know one another. She offered her suggestions on local restaurants, which were great.
The listing was just as described. Some of my favorite amenities were the hammock on the balcony and the great views from the apartment. It was cool to see deer wandering through the backyard every day.
The neighborhood was nice and the streets are tiny. I don’t recommend driving a large vehicle. There was a ton of construction around the neighborhood, so some mornings were a little loud. Other than that, it was wonderful!
We absolutely loved our stay at Alessandra's place. It was very clean, sunny, relaxing, and perfectly located near downtown Mill Valley. Parking was easy and although we did not meet Alessandra in person, she made herself available if needed.
Definitely make sure you take some time to enjoy the hammock on the deck; there's nothing more relaxing than taking a nap outside with the mountain breeze soothing your soul.
Another bonus with this space is the washer and dryer. Sure, nobody wants to do laundry on vacation, but if you're taking a longer vacation it's nice to clean your clothes before you wear that dirty t-shirt for the third day in a row.
Absolutely wonderful place! Alessandra was a welcoming host, greeting us as we arrived, available if we needed and concerned throughout about all the important details of our stay. My wife and I wanted a comfortable, clean, quiet place to stay in the Bay Area. The place was so relaxing that we almost enjoyed staying in as much as making all our planned day trip adventures. Kitchen (entire area) is new, clean and excellently apportioned. The bed was super soft and comfortable. We loved the large open-light windows in the living area which faced east out across the Mount Tam forest. Some of our great memories here were sitting on the deck, or in the living area, or on the hammock, wrapped in an afghan, admiring nature and looking forward to a daily visit from a resident deer family. As organic eaters we were pleased to find no less than two Whole Food stores, one within a vigorous walk from the apartment. The apartment is tucked away in the quiet, residential area of Mill Valley but is only minutes away from plenty of good restaurants and myriad independent coffee shops. There's even a small park within a few blocks of the place. Can't remember the last time we enjoyed sitting alone in a park swinging like children. For a couple of long-time Texans who make our living in the urban jungle and sweat out the long hot summers there, this was everything we had needed to make a great summer vacation: scenery, cool temperatures, easy proximity to San Francisco culture, a comfortable place to stay with an abundance of amenities and a host who genuinely cared about the comfort our stay. Want to see the San Francisco area in summer? This is the place. We hope to come again sometime soon.
Alessandra was the perfect host in so many ways. She not only made us feel welcome, she put effort into our stay BEFORE we arrived, asking if we had special dietary needs, making sure there was milk, coffee and even eggs awaiting us. Her driving directions and She provided tips about local restaurants and offered many maps and books about the area.
From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted! Alessandra was incredibly warm and friendly. She made herself available for a chat and answered questions about the area and life in Mill Valley. The location of the home was ideal for us. An easy walk to restaurants and a bar, also lovely neighborhood walks. The area has so much natural beauty which we enjoyed immensely from the deck! The flat exceeded our expectations and looks even lovelier in person. It's spacious, stylish, clean, and high-spec. A very clear informational binder was left for us to know the ins-and outs of the flat and of the local area. Fantastic stay, and next time we're in Mill Valley we will stay there again! Can't wait to return! Thank you, Alessandra :)
Alessandra was very accommodating and generous! The apartment looked exactly like the pictures and exceptionally clean. We only stayed one night and definitely would stay here again when in the area.
Highly recommended! Alessandra made us feel completely welcome and was kind enough to accomodate our slightly early arrival. The apartment was cozy and comfortable and even better than the photos. We danced, we cooked, we hung out, we slept like logs and we HIGHLY enjoyed this cozy, spacious, charming nest in the hills!

About the Host, Alessandra
I am originally from Milan, Italy and I lived for many years in London before moving to the US. I enjoy traveling whenever I can and I am looking forward to meeting guests from other countries and learn more about other cultures. Dan is a native of San Francisco and a realtor, so he knows the bay area very well. He can tell you about local history and places to visit. We look forward to meeting you!
