Interaction with Guests
We let our guest decide how much interaction to have with us. We are available and happy to socialize but we respect our guests' need for privacy if they prefer to be on their own.
Strictly no smoking, no heavy drinking and no drugs.
We live on a narrow road in a quiet neighborhood. We are in close proximity to our neighbors and we expect low noise levels and absolutely no parties in the house.
Both Alessandra and her apartment are absolutely lovely. She thought of every need for the space, and she was an incredibly attentive and kind host. The apartment was very private. Also, the area is very nice, so close to everything, and parking was never a problem. I can't wait to visit again. Thank you so much Alessandra!
The apartment is beautiful. We just spent 3 days in Mill Valley and the apartment was a home away from home, only more stylish. Alessandra was so thoughtful. She bought us some eggs and milk and even left me a cute necklace, which she made, for my birthday. We cooked breakfast, but ate out at night. But there were plenty of tools in the kitchen to make all your meals there. Parking was on the street, but we had no trouble finding a spot. Just be aware that the street is quite narrow and windy. The Dipsea Trail is nearby and we hiked to Muir Beach passing through Muir Woods on our way back. There are countless trails nearby for those that enjoy being outdoor. I would not hesitate to stay at Alessandra's apartment the next time I head to Mill Valley.
Alessandra was such a great host, with such a beautiful place to stay.
From the beginning she was responsive, welcoming, and helpful! The house was prepped with lovely music, and fell nothing short of the pictures posted in the listing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Alessandra and Dan were welcoming and kind hosts, and I highly recommend renting any of their properties. I thought they were incredibly lovely people, who wanted me to have a nice trip. And, it was thanks to Alessandra and Dan!
The apartment was clean and sunny (and very well decorated)! So, yes, the pictures were accurate.
We had a great getaway in Mill Valley. Alessandra made a fantastic restaurant recommendation for some of the best pizza we've had in the Bay Area (Tamalpie - don't miss it!). The apartment is lovely. We came in during a big rain storm and were super cozy. We snuggled on the couch and watched Netflix and then headed into town for food, bookstore, drinks and a movie. The decor is great. The view into the valley is quite nice. The set up is very private, and Alessandra was a gracious host.
Alessandra's apartment is bright and wonderfully comfortable. We were welcomed with a lovely set of goodies to start our stay and most importantly, everything in the apartment works smoothly. We spent a couple of gorgeous mornings and lunchtimes enjoying the best of Mill Valley views on the balcony. We will definitely be back!
Alessandra and Dan made us feel very welcome and could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We spent two weeks in their beautiful apartment and hated to leave! We can't wait to return!

I am originally from Milan, Italy and I lived for many years in London before moving to the US. I enjoy traveling whenever I can and I am looking forward to meeting guests from other countries and learn more about other cultures. Dan is a native of San Francisco and a realtor, so he knows the bay area very well. He can tell you about local history and places to visit. We look forward to meeting you!
