Interaction with Guests
We let our guest decide how much interaction to have with us. We are available and happy to socialize but we respect our guests' need for privacy if they prefer to be on their own.
Strictly no smoking, no heavy drinking and no drugs.
We live on a narrow road in a quiet neighborhood. We are in close proximity to our neighbors and we expect low noise levels and absolutely no parties in the house.
Highly recommended! Alessandra made us feel completely welcome and was kind enough to accomodate our slightly early arrival. The apartment was cozy and comfortable and even better than the photos. We danced, we cooked, we hung out, we slept like logs and we HIGHLY enjoyed this cozy, spacious, charming nest in the hills!
We had a great stay at Alessandra's place. Picturesque views from the balcony and great amenities in the apartment. It was a great stay and perfect location for the wedding we were attending.
My wife and I had a wonderful time at this apartment in Mill Valley. We were in town for a run of music shows at the Sweetwater Music Hall. Alessandra was a very gracious host, making sure that everything was in place. Even leaving a half dozen eggs and some milk in the Fridge for us. The apartment was just as described, a sunny and private little one bedroom in a quiet Mill Valley neighborhood. The kitchen was well equipped with new appliances and enough staples to actually cook small meals without having to go and buy everything needed. It was the perfect spot for our needs and we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this rental, we had a great experience. If we come back to Mill Valley, this will be our first choice. A FAR better deal than any hotels in the area. Well done Alessandra!
Unfortunately we were unable to stay with Alessandra due to illness, however the speed of her communication, the genuine concern and kindness shown will ensure that we certainly look to stay at her apartment in the future.
The stay was amazing, the view in the morning looking across the valley at the hillsides was serene. Thank you Alessandra.
There we're a few touches that I rarely see, let's start with the cleanliness. It had a four seasons white glove shine to it, no dirty dishes, table - which was glass - had no smudges, the bathroom perfect, linens fresh and crisp and soft. I just had to lean back and say ahhhhh...
Then the ability to walk to Whole Foods in 10 minutes. Neighborhood had that quite friendly feel to it. The house sits on a bluff...and in the morning...I look out the door and see a Doe with her baby fawn about 3 feet away. I took pictures, they seemed unaware or unafraid of my presence.
The overall area of Mill Valley is a blissful change from San Francisco, one feels like they are in another part of the state. A short drive downtown gets one to great restaurants, a cute hip cafe (Equator) to sip morning tea or coffee and watch the locals congregate. Randomly caught an evening comedy show at the Throckmorton Theatre (intimate and entertaining).
Heading back "home" to Alessandra's place was like going home. Quite, safe, fresh air, and that instant feeling of comfort.
Again, thank you Alessandra, we'll be back.
