I'm a bilingual electrical engineer who is passionate about science, technology, engineering, & math (STEM), electronics, inventing, and Whole Plant Nutrition (WPN). I like Tesla cars, flying, climbing towers, bowling, playing bass guitar and piano, photography, playing Sudoku, and cooking. I have the ability to explain STEM and WPN in a way that is fun, interesting, and easy to understand. I love meeting people from all over the United States and especially from around the world. I have lived two years in the Philippines and three years both in Argentina and in Perú. I am the eldest of three sons of a US Naval Aviator born in Scotland and a beautiful Puerto Rican mom. My dad was also an electrical engineer and inventor and together with my mom are my greatest heroes. After winning the National Science Fair in Perú, I was accepted to MIT but chose to attend the US Naval Academy instead. I graduated in 1976 and had met my wife, Mary Lou, 5 days earlier on a blind date. The following year I proposed to her at her High School Senior Prom and then married her the year after. She later graduated from George Mason University as a BSRN, took 20 years off to raise our children, and then worked six years at the MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Prince George’s County. We have a daughter who is an advertising Senior Strategist in LA and a son working as a Manager at The Breakers in Palm Beach. My wife and I are vegans since we believe that all life deserves compassion and the right to live.
