Come stay in our cozy, private room in our spacious three bedroom apartment! We love meeting new guests and can't wait to make you feel right at home in our bright, open and quiet apartment.
Your room holds a comfortable full sized bed and plenty of storage space for all your items.
We have 2 shared bathrooms. You'll have full access to WiFi, an open kitchen and spacious living room.
Interaction with Guests
We live in the apartment so there is always some interaction but the extent is entirely up to you. Some guests prefer to do their own thing and some prefer more interaction, we take our cues from you!
We are on the border of Crown Heights, East Flatbush and Prospect Lefferts Gardens so there is a lot of diversity all around. 20 min walk to Prospect Park and 10 minute drive to Park Slope.
We are an 8 minute walk to the Sterling Street Station which has the 2 and 5 train lines. It is a 40 minute train ride to the center of Manhattan.
Other Things to Note
If you have laundry, we have a drop off and pick up laundry service that can be arranged.
No outside guests without permission. No smoking indoors.
Rochi was very friendly and helpful. We found her place easily. Her apartment and guest bedroom are spacious and clean. She communicated well to explain online and in person. She is great and we will be back!

Rochi was very helpful and caring right from the beginning providing us with very useful tips on what to do and where to go in her neighborhood Brooklyn, but also the city NY. However, if you prefer doing your won thing, she lets you do so, too. Her apartment is in a quiet street only minutes away from the subway and was very clean and cozy! Rochi also made sure that there is always coffee, tea, water and snacks for us and we were allowed to use the kitchen as well. We can definitely recommend staying at her place - it will make your experience of New York City even better!
The room was exactly as described. Whole apartment was very clean & tidy. Bed is very comfy.
Rochi was lovely - very helpful if we needed to ask any questions.
Convenient to 2 subway stops.
Rochi was there to greet me even with a late arrival. The room is as pictured / described. I didn't have a lot of interaction with Rochi. Nothing negative to the host, I was either sleeping or out and about. Overall the experience was positive. If you're a light sleeper be sure to bring ear plugs. The window faces the street and there can be foot and car traffic late into the night.
Rochi is a kind person and everyyhing in her house is clean and tidy. We are luckily and happy to meet her during our living. It's a good choice to those who are gonna to have a tour in NYC.
Rochi was a great host. She was very accommodating. She allowed me to arrive before check in to drop off my bags and leave to get to my meetings.
Room was clean and tidy. Looking exactly like you see in the photo. Bathroom was kept very clean also.
If staying in Brooklyn, this is the place I would choose again. Neighborhood was fairly quiet and within a couple blocks of the train station.
Rochi was a wonderful host. We loved her apartment. It was very clean (!) and we felt comfortable. She welcomed us in her home . The neighborhood felt safe to us. All in all a very positive experience. Thank you.

I'm originally from South Africa and though I've lived in the US for many years and love it, one of my favorite things is spending summers in Cape Town :)
