Cabina Guanacaste offers wonderful jungle immersion in a completely quite, remote setting.
Very private, very cool. And a huge Guanacaste tree in the backyard. This cabin has breezes, killer views and total tranquility. A separate bedroom with a double bed and 3 walls of screening offering great jungle immersion! In the living area an additional double bed with built in back-rests provides a comfy place to hang out during the day and room for two more at night.

World renown as a surf mecca, Dominical has amazing breaks and great beginner beaches just to the South. The sleepy little town with dirt roads is quiet and peaceful, but there are still bars, restaurants and shopping. Phenomenal beaches are a short drive in either direction, along with other amazing outdoor adventures like hiking, horse-back riding, ziplining, waterfalls and cultural destinations.

Traveling without wheels? No problem -- we're happy to have 'hitchers' when we have room, or we'll specifically take you to Dominical for only $5 per ride.
Luke could not have been a better host.starting in the weeks leading up to the trip he went above and beyond gathering information that helped us have a trip of a lifetime. He was always available and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and even gave us multiple rides to near by airport.
The accommodations where everything we hoped for and more. If you are looking for a cabin that private and immersed in the jungle you have found it. Cozy, comfy, and clean.
Lots of wildlife all around.
Overall i would not hesitate to book this again or recommend to a friend.
Luke and Devons place was beautiful! Situated up a private road to a peaceful spot over looking an incredible view. We saw beautiful trees, birds, butterflies and even a Tucan. Luke and Devon were very accommodating. We are already planning on returning in the fall. The Guanacaste cabin was rustic yet comfy. We had 4 people and a baby and besides the crazy heat, the house was perfect!
It is very hard to describe the experience of living in a Cabin in the middle of the jungle. It was unique, an amazing and unexpected adventure. Due to the way the cabin is built, we trully connected with nature. You are constantly hypnotized with the beautiful madness that surrounds you.
Luke and family have been great to us, really nice and kind people. It was simply perfect.
Spending a few nights in this jungle cabin is a must do if you go to Costa Rica.
From the first communication Luke was incredibly welcoming, informative, prompt, professional and lovely. He knows about his properties, the town and the country and will be helpful in giving maps, directions, anything at all. His wife even lent us her bird guide while we were there. He made sure we were comfortable and taken care of and was always available for questions. The cabin itself is amazing. The best part of our 8 day trip that brought us to fancy hotels and resorts. Nope the jungle cabin was by far the best. It was perfect- even more charming than the pictures. We loved the screened in windows that let you go to sleep and wake up hearing the jungle sounds. Water was hot, wifi was decent for where we were, view was amazing. For a full two days we didn't even leave the cabin- we just sat outside on the chair on the hill and watched the wildlife- slots, monkeys, toucans, awesomely huge bugs and lizards. (If you don't like spiders- maybe go elsewhere but I feel bad for you because this place is magical.)
