This is a really nice house on the beach. Fernando is amazing as groundskeeper. :-)Make sure you eat lots of coconuts!

Erntique's property is just gorgeous and is everything you would want in a private beach getaway. The house is very nice (I agree with other reviews that it's even nicer in person) and situated for privacy. The beach and pool area are beautiful and secluded, with palm trees and other native plants. We had one issue with a power outage, which Enrique dealt with to the best in his ability, and you will find Enrique to be a very kind and accommodating host.

Enrique and his home are amazing. He met us at the house and checked us in. The home looks amazing and i think its much better than the pictures :) The house has a huge wrap around patio and the support columns are perfect for hammocks. The pool is a great size and it fits a lot more people than it looks in the pictures. The beach is nice as well with the palapa very useful for putting your beach items. The property is huge overall and long. The entrance is all palm trees and manicured, then the house, then the pool area, and then the beach area. Its all very well laid out, and also very private. The town of Telchac Puerto is a small town, its NOT filled with tourists, there are a few restaurants and such in town, but this is a real mexican town. Its awesome because its truly authentic and during the weekends the whole town comes out to the square and enjoys the pier and area. Its nice. Back to the house, each bedroom has its own bathroom, so that makes it easy for large groups, and couples. The main living area is nice as well and the kitchen well stocked. There is a grounds keeper who comes regularly to keep the pool clean and everything neat on the grounds. We took advantage of the very reasonable maid service and had the house cleaned each week. Overall we loved our time in Enrique's home, and had a great time. We stayed an entire month!

Enrique is a very attentive host. The house is lovely and is better then the photos look. Large outdoor deck looking out to the pool and beach. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Very relaxing time with not much to do in the area. I suggest to bring lots of bug spray.

We rented this house for 10 days, but only stayed 8 days due to a power outage. Enrique was very kind and accommodating and fair about a 2 day refund. He also supplied us with fresh coconuts. The property is very nice and large with a big deck around the house and beautiful landscaping. The bedrooms are a good size, but the bathrooms are small. The neighborhood on the other hand is pretty desolate with many abandon homes. Telchac does not have a lot to offer, but Progreso had many amenities.

My boyfriend and I rented this house from Enrique and his family for us and our friends for a week, and it remains firmly in our mind as one of the greatest decisions we've ever made. Our experience was nothing short of magical; sunrises and sunsets on the beach, fresh coconut water in the mornings, afternoons spent deciding whether to stay in the pool or walk the 1 minute to find amazing shells, driving the 15 min to amazing, empty Mayan ruins... Enrique put us in touch with his daughter Malena, who was nothing short of your dream host; we were unfortunately 2 hours later than we said we would be to check-in and she was waiting for us at the house with her Mother, both with the most gracious smile and understanding nature. We were introduced to the spacious house in the best way: they had provided ice, enough water for our whole trip, and cold beer and wine in the fridge. Like I said, a dream... If you're on the fence about renting this property, don't be. It was the first listing I looked at when searching for a rental for the trip, and after researching and researching, I came back to it with full confidence that it was the right choice; when we arrived, it exceeded my expectations. As of now, it's hard to believe we had the opportunity to stay in such a great place... It was truly a wonderful experience and I would recommend this house and Enrique and his family as hosts to anyone.

Enrique was a great host, as was Fernando, the man who takes care of the house and the pool. Both went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The place itself is a piece of paradise. It's really quiet, outside of the little village of Telchac Puerto, it's a bird's highway, but beside that, it's just you, the sun and the sea. Go! You won't regret it!
