Fiona was very adaptable re. our arrival time. She left a note for us and told us what time she'd make breakfast. It was a perfect stay with a lovely homely breakfast time, delicious food and a nice conversation. The whole experience was a total pleasure. Highly recommend
Fiona is a very gracious host. Her home is lovely, and our room was very attractive and comfortable. We had a very nice chat with Fiona over breakfast, and she offered a number of helpful suggestions for our sightseeing. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Staying in Fiona's was a memorable experience. Her cottage is artistically designed and decorated and is a little oasis of calm and tranquility in beautiful surroundings. Fiona herself is very hospitable and warm and ensures that your stay is relaxed and comfortable. I left the city on a journey and Fiona's was my first stop. And while my stay was short, it made a huge impression and I was very grateful for having come across this 'little gem'.
Staying with Fiona was just lovely. What a beautiful location, and so easy to reach both Dublin and Newgrange.
Would definitely recommend!
Our stay with Fiona was our first Airbnb experience and proved to be one that was most memorable. Fiona provided us with much more than just an average accommodation and welcomed us into her gorgeous summer cottage. Set in a warm and vintage-like bedroom, we were luxuriously transported back into time with tea and biscuits awaiting to our delight.
Fiona allowed us a tour of her gardens and made a delicious breakfast before making our way through Ireland. We are most thankful to have had to chance to meet Fiona and would recommend her to anyone!
We had such a nice time staying with Fiona. She was a great host, and it was wonderful to get to know her. Her cottage is lovely and very comfortable, and Fiona was welcoming and great to talk with. She was also very helpful in suggesting places to visit. This was one of our favorite places that we stayed in during our trip to Ireland, and we would love to come back and stay again one day.
From the moment we turned into Fiona's driveway, we felt at home. The house is impeccably and tastefully decorated with family items and collectibles that reveal her finely honed, artistic sense of detail. Despite our late arrival, Fiona offered us a cup of tea and stayed up to chat about art and dogs and yoga -- a conversation that continued over breakfast the next morning and would probably still be going on had we not had to move on to Dublin before noon. Her ability to anticipate guests' needs is extraordinary (minted water in the bedroom, hot water bottle for the bed) and demonstrates a deep compassion for people and travelers. We highly recommend her cottage for individuals or couples wanting to explore the Boyne Valley.
