Fiona's place is really pretty, both the house and the garden. The room and bed are comfortable and the bathroom spacious and perfectly clean. The house is in the midst of beautiful farmland and located in the heart of one of the richest areas for ancient Irish history. It is only 10 minutes or so from Newgrange in one direction and Tara in another (and less than an hour from Dublin). Fiona is an interesting and generous woman. She is very friendly and she looked after me like a friend rather than someone who just appeared at her door for the night. Do ask to see her catalogue as she is a very talented sculptor!
Fiona's cottage is lovely, and very cosy, as is the room. We had a wonderful three-night stay, & I would highly recommend it to anyone. The location is fantastic for visiting sites in the area. Fiona is a wonderful person, & we enjoyed her company very much, & miss her & Lilly the dog already!
Fiona was lovely and made me feel welcome right away. We had a great time chatting about travel and art and yoga. Lily (her dog) was a sweetheart! The room was cozy and very comfortable, and she offered yummy porridge for breakfast the next day. It was very convenient from Newgrange/Hill of Tara - lots to see and do in the area. Wish I could've stayed longer!
The cottage was charming and Fiona made us feel right at home. Her home is lovely and reflects her artist sensibilities. We enjoyed our night stay and fresh coffee, porridge and great toast in the morning. It was a wonderful stop on our Ireland trip, close to Newgrange.
My boyfriend and I spent 5 days/4 nights at Fiona's place.
She was a great host and she sent us all details how to get there from Dublin. We had a lot of common topics and nice talks...
Lily, her lovely Labrador, is so dear soul too. She made us feel even more homey.
Fiona gave her best to help us and even organized small excursion for us which we appreciated and enjoyed a lot!
We stayed one night at Fiona's house which was cosy, warm, clean and very comfortable. Fiona was a gracious and generous host who took a close interest in ensuring our needs for a relaxed and comfortable stay were met as far as possible. Fiona is an excellent artist and her dog, Lily, is great!
We enjoyed our stay in Co. Meath at Fiona's peaceful home very much indeed.
It was a very suitable base for touring local Heritage sites, and also for a round of golf.
Tara, Navan is definitely a wonderfully special part of the world*
We experienced a lovely, pretty, colorful house, which was very hospitable.
We also loved the excellent variety, and quality of the books provided in the room-enjoyable reading :)
From the picturesque rural location, to the nice bedroom itself,
this Air b&b experience is a bright and rare gem to find.
The host Fiona, and her sweet doggie Lilly are equally sparkling, and very kind - it was a pleasure to stay here and meet you both.
(Please forgive the little delay in writing the review by the way.)
Thanking you kindly,
