The Space

GREAT location in Williamsburg, central to the Lorimer L (5 blocks), Metropolitan G (5 blocks), Marcy JMZ (3 blocks) and Bedford L (11 short blocks).

Friend and family friendly. This is for the entire 2br apartment, each room can sleep up to 2 people, and one on the couch or the provided air mattress, so 5 people total!! VERY family friendly!!

Beautiful layout, exposed brick and stainless steal kitchen too!!! Nice sized, fully furnished and recently renovated, both bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, and the apartment is yours only, *no roommates*! This is located on a very nice, tree-lined and quiet block so close to the best trains in Williamsburg.

  • This space was great for us (we are two adults and two kids under 8) Good location, quick to walk to the thick of all Williamsburg offers, but not at all in the middle of it. There's a coffee shop to walk to a half block away called Knife. The flat is an easy walk (maybe 10 minutes or less) to Momofuku Milk Bar, Saltie, Peter Luger, and many others. Easy subway access. Quick into the city. Full Kitchen, comfy enough beds, enough water pressure. No AC, and it was toasty in NY (midJune), but lots of fans was more than sufficient. Alyssa wasn't around, but available by phone/text and very quick to reply. We asked for a slightly earlier check in and check out, and she was willing to oblige, no problem. Happy to stay here again. Would recommend for sure.

  • Alyssa was a very nice host, although we never met her in person. The apartment would have been great for 4 people, but we were 5 and it was frankly too tiny. Also, the sofa was super small and impossible to use as a bed. If you're 4 people, the apartment would be very good.

  • Alyssa's place is alright and affordable for Williamsburg, the best neighborhood in Brookyln. Location is great, very close to Marcy Avenue and Lorimer subway stations, and it's just one stop away from Manhattan.
The surroundings are unbeatable: restaurants, bars, nice shops, supermarkets, venues, cinema, concert halls and Brooklyn's Flea. There's so much to do around!
The appartment is tiny but fits 4 people comfortably. One room is ok and the other one is very small; also the bathroom is very, very small and needs some refurbishing .
The whole house could use a deep cleanse and some chairs need to be fixed. We didn't meet Alyssa but she was helpful via telephone and we had no trouble at all finding the keys and getting to the house.
In general, we had a nice (email hidden) and would definitely consider staying again at this appartment. We had 10 very nice nights there!

  • This was a great apartment experience! The location is fabulous and the apartment has two bedrooms which was important to us. The apartment itself is delightful and funky! Alyssa was very responsive to emails and texting! The key location was optimal since we did not have to wait for anyone for the "handing over of the keys". The written guidelines Alyssa provides are extremely helpful and greatly appreciated! We hope to be able to stay here again!!

  • We just spent a week in NYC, and Alyssa (email hidden) : she was accommodating and answered very quickly to all our questions.
The apartment is very nice : it's big enough for 5 people (2 bedrooms), there's everything you need to eat in, towels and linens were provided, good wi-fi...
Also the location is great : it's in Williamsburg and near the subway Marcy Avenue (or you can walk a little more and take the L subway) and near from Manhattan.

  • We had a great time in Alyssa's apartment. It is very quiet for New York and very near Marcy Ave Subway. It is a pleasant walk to Bedford Ave L train Subway past all the great shops bars and restaurants of Williamsburg. We found the apartment to be extremely good value. The apartment genuinely has two real bedrooms - so our 10 yr old had her own room. The apartment is large enough to eat in - I know this isn't that important to New Yorkers, but we out-of-towners found a night in quite relaxing. Also we could have breakfast round a table. It's great to have an apartment this size when you wake up at 5am with jet lag. You don't have to wake everyone up. 'Knife' is a great stop for breakfast, just down the road. The Wifi is good and stable.

  • We had a great trip to NYC and stayed at Alyssa's place. She was very accommodating and the whole experience was great. Would've liked a little bit more dusting but that is a minor point.

About
I have lived in Williamsburg for almost 8 years now, and LOVE the neighborhood! Like most New Yorkers, I travel A LOT, which is how I have multiple dwellings (because I was booking myself out of a place to sleep sometimes! haha), and always love coming back to this neighborhood. There really is nowhere like it. As you can tell, my places are decorated very nicely, Americana-meets-Victorian, with a splash of modern thrown in. I have amazing hosting reviews on airbnb, so feel free to ask ANY questions you may have and definitely read my other reviews. Would be happy to host you, I always try to make your trip a great experience!!!
