The apartment is located right next to a department store and there are two grocery stores right around the corner along with a Laundromat, so everything you need is within a block or two. There are also a ton of great restaurants located in the neighborhood.
The 1 train is just a few steps away from the apartment making commuting a breeze. Also within walking distance is the A train.

A refaire
Stayed there one night, on a weeknight. Joey was very flexible and accomodating about my late night arrival, and about my check out time the next day. He and his brother were very considerate about coming and going through the living room where I was sleeping. Only possible issue might be noise -- the walls in the apt seem to be thin, and I could hear people talking in the next room and in the lobby right outside the apt, even though they were talking quietly. But all in all, I would highly recommend this place, especially to a solo female traveller -- felt very safe there, both in the neighborhood and with Joey and his brother. Also, it's very clean and uncluttered. Good place to unwind.
I enjoyed staying at Joey's place. It was very comfortable.
