Located in the heart of Washington Heights this apartment is a great place to crash after a long day in the city. Conveniently near the 1 & A train it's only 35min to Midtown. A few steps away is beautiful Harlem River Park. Come visit The Heights!
Located on the first floor of the building, it is an fantastic apartment with lots of sunlight that spills in through the windows.
Access to the bathroom and kitchen.
Interaction with Guests
Once you check in, I try to stay out of your way as much as possible.
The apartment is located right next to a department store and there are two grocery stores right around the corner along with a Laundromat, so everything you need is within a block or two. There are also a ton of great restaurants located in the neighborhood.
The 1 train is just a few steps away from the apartment making commuting a breeze. Also within walking distance is the A train.
Other Things to Note
I do allow more than one guest to stay if you are traveling with a friend or a significant other. I charge $15 dollars for every extra person.
No Pets, No smoking, No Unannounced Visitors.
Joey and his brother were friendly and also explained / showed me around their neighborhood
Joey was very quick to respond to my initial request and all other emails. He was flexible about check in time.
The apartment was very clean and although the futon was in what would normally be a living room, I had complete privacy. I found the futon to be comfortable and Joey had provided plenty of pillows and blankets.
It's a great deal and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Also it is extremely close to the subway, making it super convenient.
Cool place! Joey was very helpful. We enjoyed our trip, staying at his place!
He let us have own privacy after he met us and slept at his house.
All facility quite good and also convenient to other places like grocery store.
He is really a good host and welcome us when we reached his house.
I stayed here with two friends and this place was all we had hoped for! It is conveniently located near the subway, so we had no problem getting back late at night. Our hosts (Joey and his brother) were very friendly. They had just moved into a new place so everything was very clean! One downside was there was no wi-fi yet, but that should be fixed soon. All in all a very good deal for the price!
The place is really convenient. It's near the subway and there are some places to eat around the neighborhood. However, it's not a place for a girl to walk alone. The streets were dark at night. About the house itself, me and my friends slept in the living room. No problem about that. However, the blankets and the apartment was dirty. So it was hard to sleep and we had to cover the pillows with our tshirts and use our jackets as blankets. The bathroom was dirty too.
