Interaction with Guests
Guests may communicate with me via telephone, social network, or email. Keys will be given by myself (or a representative) upon check-in, after which full privacy will be given as the place is yours for the entire duration of your stay.
A number of historical buildings and other structures are mere seconds away from the apartment. Guests can tag along with tourist groups who have on-duty guides each day explaining the rich history and culture of Mainz. Guests also have immediate access to the famous Rhine river, where jogging tracks and bicycle paths, more restaurants, and river cruise opportunities await, all within a short walking distance from the apartment.
Public transport possibilities near the apartment are plenty. More than 10 different buses stop within 100 meters of the apartment, where you can easily link to Mainz Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station) and other destinations.
The only house rule is to please keep the apartment clean and tidy for the next guests, just as the previous guests have done for you.
Azhar's flat is centrally located in Mainz's Altstadt. It's literally a one minute walk to the cathedral, or 3 minutes to the Rhine, city hall and the river boat cruises.
It's on the top floor of a very old and beautiful building.
We did not have the chance to meet Azhar in person as he was traveling, but the key exchange was easy. Although there were some issues with the flat upon check-in, Azhar worked very hard to correct them and was always available and easily contactable.
The bedroom consists of a futon on the very top floor and it is comfortable and quiet, despite the flat being so centrally-located. The bathroom and kitchen are both small, yet functional.
I would recommend this flat for a short stay in Mainz for two people interested in exploring the heart of the city.
The apartment of Azhar is really nice and perfectly located in the city center. The room is well organized and functional. Even though I didn't get the chance to meet Azhar in person, I could contact him anytime and he was always very nice and helpful. He also gave me nice advises about Mainz and things to do. Thank you very much for the stay and I will recommend this place.
I had a wonderful week in Azhar's cozy flat. The location is very close to the Mainzer Dom, right in the old town of Mainz. Even though I didn't get the chance to meet Azhar in person, I could contact him anytime and he was always very nice and helpful. I really do hope that I have the chance to come back some day! Cheers...
