My second stay at Kuntia's place and this is now what feels like my home when I visit Ubud. Waking up in the palms in the loft is so relaxing. It was just what I needed to wind down. If it is your first time in Ubud the centre is very busy, and not what you imagined. Kunita's place is set among rice fields, but there is everything you need locally. Alchemy, Yellow Flower, Elephant are some of the best places to eat in Ubud are just a short walk away. Also there is a yoga studio and a spa nearby. No need to leave Penestanan for much at all. I'll be back as I've fallen in love with this place. And the fur babies.

Lovely home-like place to stay.Ruth is a very nice and considerate person. I really enjoy the breeze in the balcony, while my son loves the little pool. However I prefer more window screens to keep the mosquitos away.

Response from Kuntia:
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately mosquitoes are part of life in Bali and it is not possible to screen every area. That is why we have mosquito nets, coils and repellent for our guests. We hope to see you and your son again.

This is an absolute treasure of a place! Being on the first floor, sat on the balcony, you are surrounded at eye-level by palms, bougainvillea and lush vegetation. Every morning Ketuk brought us fresh fruit, scrambled egg or banana pancakes and excellent coffee. We were given top tips on where to eat, Lilli Lala's, a couple of minutes walk away was a favourite and if you are near the market in central Ubud the Melting Wok is outstanding. You can walk down to the temple and Bridges restaurant and bar in less than 15 minutes. All in all a fabulous quiet place to kick back and enjoy Bali! We wish we'd stayed longer. Thanks to you all. Ruth was a great host, very friendly with lots of local tips. Nice room with views of rice paddies and a mountain. Pool was nice to cool off in after a busy day. Walking distance to Ubud Centre (20 mins). Great organic cafe down the lane, Yellow Flower. Few yoga and massage options only minutes away. Travelled as a couple.
