  • This is the most proper Bed and Breakfast place i have stayed so far. Although the breakfast was very basic, but there is always coffee and tea at your own disposal. The only comment i would make would be to have a bin in the dinning area so that guest can throw away the used tea bags, etc and have cups / mugs on the table so guests can make their own tea / coffee.

The experience with Paola was great. They are both very helpful and friendly. The place is very convenient and within walking distance to everything .. even a laundrette just below the apartment. Paola was very kind to let me have my own room with the bathroom attached which was very handy.

Overall, I would recommend to anyone visiting Venice to stay with them. The area is very safe as well and beautiful!

    Response from Paola:

thank you Amy, I take note of your advice ( bin and cups/mugs).
With regard to the basic breakfast, I would like to point out that we must follow our regional laws, we can not give foods that are not packaged, unfortunately.

  • I am a tourist of traveling alone from Japan which stayed for 3 days. The room was beautiful and was comfortable. A host was very kind and explained it carefully. The building is splendid for a good feeling. The breakfast is very splendid, too. In addition, I could get to know other tourists and were a stay in substantial Venice very happily. If a forthcoming opportunity is in Venice, I want to come back here. I appreciate that I can spend it comfortably safely. You're very kind.

  • The BnB is in a fantastic location, close to everything you want to see. Paola and Paola are lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful and speak many languages. Breakfast with other guests is nice and it was a good opportunity to swap stories and Venice tips.

  • Nice place with friendly and helpful hosts. Decent breakfast to go with and the location is within near distance of the piazza San Marco, but not too near such that one can enjoy some quietness as well :)

  • Very well located! The room was simple and clean. Paola was an excellent host, and I had a wonderful experience staying here! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, affordable and very well located accommodation! Do find a detailed map though to help you find it when you first arrive!

  • I stay at B&B ARABESQUE for 3 fantastic days. The place is well located in the middle of Venice, close by walk in few minutes from lots of great places such as Piazza St-Marco and the Rialto Bridge but also charming hidden places all around. Paola is a great host who gratefully provide me boots for the Aqua Alta (1.45m!!!) that's happened during my time there.

I warmly recommend that place for a stay at Venice, and I'll certainly go back there if come day I come back at Venice again.

  • Place was nice and breakfast is fantastic although it takes us sometime to navigate the area to get to her place as the alley look almost the same everywhere.

  • Clean and quiet with nice bathroom and generous breakfast spread. Hosts were very kind and patient when we got lost on our way to the B&B. Thank you for a nice stay!

  • The accommodation was a good starting point to explore Venice. Close to the plaza de Marco but not to much tourisms. The two very friendly Paola`s makes the stay comfortable. Due to the short time, I followed the recommendation from Paola about eating and sightseeing and was 100% satisfied. A short trip to Murano and a present from Glas for my family was the end of my two day´s. Thanks both Paola`s for the excellent and professional hostesses.

  • I just got off the plane and followed the directions by Paola to call them when I got to the waterbus stop. Her assistant came in 5 minutes and walked me to the location as it would have been impossible for me to find any other way. Up 2 flights of stairs, and I had a nice basic room and there was a very clean bathroom. Breakfast was also nice. I recommend this B&B.
