Located one hour from Omaha in the scenic Loess Hills of Iowa, this newly remodeled studio apartment above the garage has a large deck and a beautiful valley view overlooking my hometown. With a queen bed, a pull-out sofa, full kitchen, shower in bathroom, laundry, and gas fireplace, the apt. is attached by an elevated deck to the main house, my childhood home, (which my husband and I call our "Hilltop Hospitality House"). We are excited to welcome gracious guests to this lovely space.

The space
This spacious studio apartment is nicely furnished. We hope that you will find everything you need. We are looking forward to welcoming guests. The valley and lake views from the large attached deck are lovely.

Guest access
This upstairs studio apartment is above a garage and is attached to a raised deck which wraps around a courtyard and connects to our main rental house (The Hilltop Hospitality House). Guests are free to access everything in the studio apartment, the courtyard, and deck. No access to garage or rental house.

I love meeting and hosting guests! I hope all who enter as strangers leave as friends, even when/if we don't get to meet. My parents modeled hospitality to strangers and hosted people from around the world. I honor their memory by continuing that legacy. Our family had two foreign exchange students when I was in school, each staying one year. These beloved friends are still like family to us! "Practice Hospitality" is my goal and my joy!
