Escape to our lochside cabin on beautiful Loch Awe, where forest meets water. Relax in your private wood fired hot tub (not available after 27 September) , enjoy cosy evenings by the wood burner, and take in stunning views right from your door. Perfect for couples, families or a peaceful retreat, with walks, wildlife and fishing nearby. Dog friendly and fully equipped for a comfortable stay, this is the ideal place to unwind and reconnect with nature.
The space
Nestled directly on Loch Awe’s western shore, Kilchurn Cabin has stunning loch views where you can enjoy the warmth of a wood-burning stove and unwind in the relaxing wood-fired hot tub (not available after September 27). This open-plan cabin comfortably sleeps four across two bedrooms (one double, one with bunk beds).
The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need, including an electric hob, oven, fridge, microwave, and Nespresso machine. In the lounge area, you’ll find comfortable seating, a smart TV, Xbox, and DVD player, all perfectly positioned to take in the expansive loch views directly in front of the cabin. WiFi is available via a mobile hotspot.
Step out onto the balcony, ideal for soaking in the breathtaking scenery. For your comfort, the cabin features electric heating and double glazing, ensuring a cozy stay year-round. Parking for two cars is available. This is a non-smoking accommodation, with laundry facilities nearby. Dogs are most welcome, perfect for enjoying the numerous forest walks.
Situated within the Dalavich Cabins, Kilchurn guarantees peace and quiet. Being right on the loch side means you have immediate access to wonderful country walks, cycling, sailing, and rich wildlife. Fishing is allowed, so don’t forget your gear!
Dalavich village is just a 5-minute walk, offering a convenience store and a café. Dalavich Social Club is home to the Loch View Bar with the Pop-up Unruly Oak Pizzeria!
The cabin’s central location in Argyll provides easy access to attractions like The Avich Falls, Inveraray Castle, and Oban. Kilchurn is ideal for young families or couples seeking a memorable, relaxing holiday in an unforgettable location.

Note there are steps down to the cabin. Please do your best to keep your pups off the sofas and beds and of course remember to clean up after them 🐾

Guests have exclusive use of Kilchurn Cabin, including the enclosed private deck, garden area, direct loch access and private fishing rights. Parking is available outside the cabin. Forest walking and cycling trails can be accessed directly from the property. The cabin is set in a peaceful location with privacy throughout your stay.

We have a high chair and travel cot available.
Lots of outdoor seating both on the deck and in the garden.
Washing machines and tumble dryers are available at an extra cost at the community centre.
We are going to be refurbishing the hot tub in the Autumn so it is not available after 27th September
