This is a basement two bedroom, one bathroom apartment. It includes very basic linens, towels, and soap, and the kitchen includes a coffee pot/coffee. The apartment is also dog friendly, with a lovely patio and backyard for both guests and dogs. The apartment is directly off Route 250, so a little off the beaten path in terms of walking access to downtown/the University (you could walk it if you were feeling ambitious about crossing the highway), but it is very easy to get everywhere by car. It is a good home base for trips to Monticello/wineries, albeit a bit expensive compared to comparably-sized standalone houses/apartments closer to downtown with better amenities. Danielle is a great host. She is welcoming, accommodating, and accessible! I would recommend this apartment to those visiting Charlottesville.

Danielle was great to work with - and we liked the location of the house. Unfortunately, we had booked due to my father being at UVA Medical Center, but he ended up being scheduled for a move back to Virginia Beach. We ended up changing the reservation from 8 to 4 days, which Danielle graciously accommodated.

This is a lovely downstairs, two bedroom, one bath apartment. Furnishing are funky and eclectic. Danielle provides the basics you will need - linens, towels, soap, dishes, and (very importantly) a coffee pot and coffee! We could hear the resident people and doggies above us quite often, but they were relatively quiet between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. While not walkable to the downtown pedestrian mall, the house is convenient to many sights, such as Monticello, wineries, UVA, and downtown Charlottesville. We would certainly stay again!

This was a great base from which to explore CVille and the surrounding area. We were here for 6 weeks, and needed a place where we could occasionally just hang out and chill. This was it. Great location. It's right off the bypass highway, but the convenience outweighed the minimal traffic noise. Also many great parks close by for dog walks. We really could walk down to the pedestrian mall in 15 minutes or less. One thing guests should consider is that this is a basement apartment and there is occasional noise from upstairs. Also someone up there smokes and we sometimes smelled cigarette smoke. It didn't bother us, but someone with respiratory issues might be concerned.

We were greeted upon arrival and the host provided coffee and fresh eggs from her hens. Quite the nice touch.

I brought a group of 10 people to Charlottesville for the Look3 photo festival and airbnb'd half a dozen places in town. Danielle's was one of the nicest I saw, and although i didn't stay there myself, the guests who stayed there loved the place (and the artwork that is installed in the apartment). feedback from Amr and Owise, who stayed there: "10 stars for me , it is a museum not apt! Already miss her place!" "It was great. Everything was perfect and the landlady was awesome."

We had a great experience. Everything was as described, and all within a few minutes drive or uber from UVa Grounds.

We love living in Charlottesville and are thrilled to share a piece of our world with others!

Our Belmont location is in heart of Charlottesville- near the downtown mall, University of Virginia and Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. We live on a charming street that has been revitalized!

The North Downtown Apartment is exclusively used for Airbnb and is a quiet and bright walk-out basement apartment. I manage the space for my mother-in-law whom lives upstairs with her sweet dog, Harry. This location is on one of the most prominent streets in Charlotesville. It offers easy access to the downtown mall and University area. Great for weekend, weekly and extended stays.

We hope you will join us and share in the beauty of Charlottesville!
