How does a large property in central Ubud yet a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle sound? A fully enclosed villa of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with lounge, dining area and kitchen in a/c comfort. An antique timber house overlooks the pool and gardens. Another lounge, 3rd bathroom and dining area to enjoy your complimentary breakfast. The trampoline, swing and fountain with fish make it heaven for kids. The massage loft and cocktails ideal for the grown ups! Outdoor cats on premises.

The space
Villa Toya offers two buildings in a secure walled compound which is set back off the street. We are licensed and legal.
We are in a mixed residential and commercial area, on the southern end of the centre, surrounded by many shops, spas and fabulous restaurants. One of Ubud largest supermarkets is 100m away as is ARMA museum. A medical centre is conveniently located next door if needed. Sacred Monkey Forest is an easy 15min walk away. We are easily accessible for food delivery and Grab or Gojek car or bike transport if you don’t fancy walking.
We are very central with the convenience of being able to walk everywhere which beats being stuck in traffic but with this comes the fact that it is not totally silent and there will be some background traffic sound particularly at peak hours. This is lessened by being set back from the street and our use of water features for white noise. If you want total silence then this probably isn’t the place for you.
The main villa houses all four bedrooms and two of the three bathrooms. One of the bedrooms (king) is downstairs with an ensuite and the other three are upstairs serviced by one bathroom.
Two of these bedrooms (king and queen) have direct access to the bathroom. Those in the bunk room must walk through either of the other two bedrooms to access the bathroom. Please make sure this set up will suit your needs.
There are two king-single floor trundles available for the two larger rooms only. One upstairs, one down.
The large upstairs bedroom has its own lounge area and balcony with seating. Here you may see a squirrel or two in the large trees of our garden.
Downstairs is a lounge, dining and guests own kitchen. There is a 55inch smart TV with a variety of channels in this lounge.
It is air conditioned throughout and all rooms have fans and at least one window in each room is insect screened.
The other building is an open air antique timber building, a Javanese joglo, here is a lounge room overlooking the pool, a dining area where breakfast is served daily and a staff kitchen where breakfast is made by day and cocktails by evening.
The third bathroom with bathtub is in this building.
Upstairs of the joglo is a dedicated massage space with two tables. We can organise visiting massage therapists.
There is a thatched rice-house which is reserved for staff inside but has a seating and giant chess area underneath.
The gardens are large, colourful and shaded by mango trees.
The 12 x 6m pool has fountains, deck chairs and pool towels.
There’s a sunken, netted trampoline and swing to keep the kids entertained.
A large fountain is next to the outdoor dining area and has fish the kids can feed.
The 500m2 property is fully walled with a lockable timber door for maximum privacy and security.
Portable cot and high chair are free.
WIFI throughout. Villa mobile phone for local calls.
Staff come each day to make breakfast and do any light cleaning needed.
We are very flexible and are happy to leave you to your privacy once the necessities are done for the day. We know everyone has different ideas about having staff around so we are happy to have that discussion with you.
Babysitting, temporary pool fencing, massages, transport/touring, washing, cocktails all available for extra cost.
A catered Indonesian meal by a chef can be organised with prior arrangement.
Early luggage drop off is possible.
Airport pickup and drop off can be arranged.
Late arrivals can be met at the villa by staff.
Parking for bikes or cars available.
Delicious complimentary breakfast with barista coffee for all, each day.
Cats do live on the property but remain outside.

Accessibility - Please note that the staircase up to the three bedrooms is fairly steep.
The ensuite bathroom to the ground floor bedroom has two steps down to access.
There are two steps up into the main villa and the same for the timber joglo and entry gate.
Stairs up to the massage loft are very steep.

Guest access
The whole walled compound with pool are yours to use exclusively. The lockable timber doors ensure privacy and security.
