Two separate bedrooms each with double bed, a living room with a sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom. Next to Place Monge known for an excellent outdoor food market, and to rue Mouffetard, one of the first streets in Paris from roman period, the way to Rome.
The apartment is fully furnished with oven, microwave oven, kitchen top, fridge, washer and dryer and every other small appliances.
Elegant apartment in a 1850's building, located on rue Monge, in the 5th. arrondissement, historical center of Paris.
3 min walking from two metro stations: Place Monge and Censier Daubenton. Two blocks away from rue Mouffetard, therefore very practical but far from it's noise.
On the first floor of the building, and not on the ground floor, (no lift, but only 16 steps to climb), it faces a quiet street.
Two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a double sofa-bed. For real privacy and confort. Loads of wardrobe space. A window in each bedroom.
The living room has a sofa bed that can sleep another person if needed. The table serves 4/5 people confortably. This red table has a lever that makes it go down to coffe table height and up to dining table height.
The bathroom has a shower with 2 options: a big shower head or a small hand held shower. It also has a window.
The apartment is fully equipped, with microwave oven, vitroceramic cooktop, fridge, a washing/drying machine for your clothes, coffee machine, toaster, hairdryer, ironing stuff etc. High speed internet access is provided for your computers. The telephone is unlimited to land lines of 90 countries (but not to mobiles) You can find the list of countries at this link: (URL HIDDEN) Plus cable TV with international channels. Towels and all linen are included.
The apartment is close to many activities by walking:
Place Monge (3 min) where you may enjoy a typical Parisian open air market held three times per week - wednesday, friday and sunday from 7h to 13h.
Jardin des Plantes (7min): The Jardin des Plantes is the main botanical garden in France, founded in 1626, as a medicinal herb garden for king Louis 13th. In 1640 it opened to the public. Great for jogging and taking the kids to see dinosaurs and other real life size pre-historic animals at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle.
Jardin du Luxembourg (12 min): a wonderful place, the most appreciated garden by parisians.
Rue Mouffetard (3 min): a charming medieval street , lively and full of restaurants and bars. It is also one of the best streets for buying fish - poissonerie, meat - boucherie, sweets - patisserie, bread - boulangerie, veggies and anything else you can desire in french gastronomy.
The Great Mosque of Paris (7min): a mosque which you can visit. It houses a fantastic Spa (hammam, sauna and massages) and a tea house with the typical thé à la menthe. Beautiful architecture.
You will also find a grocery shop situated just in front the entrance of the building and a bakery at the corner. Several others a block away in roughly any direction.
The neighborhood is lively and young, however, the windows of our apartment face a tiny street and will therefore provide you with all the quiet you may need. The apartment is situated on the first floor without a lift, with only 16 steps to climb.
By the way there are no cleaning fees at all, and no extra charges of any kind.
Minimum stay: 4 days.
In general the check-in is at 14h, and the check out at 11am. But if there is no guest the day before or after, we are flexible on the hours of arrival and departure.
You do have to advise me if you want a very late check-in (after 22h) as I live far away, so I have to agree to it before you book.
When you reserve, please communicate your incoming and departure flights so that we meet you at the right time. We check the adp (Aeroports de Paris) site to see if the plane is on time.

I have 3 children and have lived in Paris for the last 20 years and love it here.
