Quiet. Private sunroom plus bath/bedroom. New bed/mattress. Refrigerator/ microwave/kettle/coffee/tea.
Original art everywhere. Many books. Cat outside. Dog inside (not in your room).
Family neighborhood. Near Mo-pac to downtown, bus, many coffee shops & cafes, hip Burnet Rd. district.
Enter your colorful, art and book-filled room through a private sunroom. All the art is original and from a variety of mostly local artists. Your own bath is across the hall. You'll have a small refrigerator, microwave and the means to make coffee or tea in your room. I'll provide a morning snack.
Wireless internet is available.
My pets are never in your space but you may meet Claire-the-cat at the outside door. Sally-the-dog loves to visit and often stays. So does my partner Brady and you may hear him playing the fiddle on the deck.
You have a private entrance and a private bath. My room is next to yours but I use a separate bath. The room is lockable if you wish. Non-smoking.
Interaction with Guests
I'll be present to welcome and help get you settled.
I am reachable by cell phone for questions when I'm out. While I can be very sociable, I like to give everyone as much privacy as they desire.
This is a great neighborhood for walking. There is a great mix of ages and you'll see lots of people walking dogs and strolling with little ones. Within a few blocks are eateries of every kind, coffee shops, bookstores and a library. And cool thrift shops!
There is a bus stop one block from my (website hidden)-Pac (Loop 1) is just 3 blocks away and will take you downtown or to Auditorium Shores in 10 minutes. At rush hour it can take a bit longer.
Other Things to Note
Because Mo-Pac is near, it's also easy to get to South Austin in 15-20 minutes. Music is everywhere as are theatres and movies.
I turn in between 11 and 12 but guests keep their own hours. I only ask for quiet if you come in late. (No drum solos!)
All else is good!
WOW what an experience it was to stay at this amazing adobe of Beverly! Everything was like and better than what was described! Just loved every bit of the stay and Beverly made us feel at home from the moment we met. The place was clean and had all the necessary stuffs. Couldn't get to spend much time with Beverly but she was a very sweet host and would like to visit the place again.
What a delightful time we had with Beverly at her B&B in Austin. She is a very gracious host who has great knowledge of the area. Her home is full of interesting things to explore and you'll never lack for something to read. Delicious goodies awaited us every morning for our petit dejeuner on the sunny and cozy sunroom. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. It was such a warm and wonderful place to stay.
Beverly was a lovely hostess for our 4-night stay. She greeted us and showed us around when we arrived, making us feel right at home. The room was artfully decorated, with a locked private entrance, and had secure wi-fi, small refrigerator, microwave, hot water pot for tea and coffee, and bottled water, fruit, yogurt and breakfast breads. The home is in a nice, safe, quiet, and conveniently located neighborhood. We had a delightful stay and would definitely recommend Beverly’s b&b!
Beverly was an amazing and welcoming host. As soon as you show up she makes sure you are comfortable and makes you feel right at home. The house is very clean and well decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything you need is in the room, and the sunroom and private entrance are great features. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, you absolutely won't regret it.
This was my first experience with Airbnb. My stay with Beverly in her home exceeded my expectations. I felt welcome, comfortable and safe. Beverly came outside to greet me when I first arrived. The walkway up to the front door is full of lush greenery. You walk into a sunroom that says relax it's a readers haven not to mention the great art work. I love to read I was delighted. Then you walk into the bedroom great attention has been made to the comfort of the bedding, lighting along with incidentals. As if all of this was not enough the real gift is Beverly. I did not want to leave she has a special grace and peace that brought me joy. This was one of my most memorable experiences in Austin. I am grateful and look forward to my next stay at Beverlys.
Beverly was welcoming, charming, great to talk to. She opened her home up to us as if it was ours. The location was great, it's a quite neighborhood lots of places to eat. the room itself was cozy, it had a sunroom which was nice for sitting and enjoying your morning tea. Great place to stay.
Beverly is so great! The room was as described and spacious and very accommodating. The mini breakfasts and coffee (in room) in the morning were wonderful. She was inviting and more than courteous. A definite recommendation
I'm a writer, retired social worker, artist who has lived in Austin 40 years. I garden, dance, read, swim and tell jokes (only on request). (Usually). My partner Brady and pups Sally and Hank often visit so you may hear a fiddle being played on the deck. And a discreet bark now and then.
