Shelley's place was great! Super walkable to several train locations and on a quiet and beautiful tree-lined street. I was in town for work and also found the space perfect when I need to get some work done in a quiet space. I really enjoyed my stay at Shelley's place!

Shelley is very friendly and we liked the accommodation. The apartment is cozy. Ideal for two people. When visiting New York, we mostly spent nights in the apartment, so we did not mind less daylight. The way to the nearest metro takes about 10 minutes and Manhattan is 40-60 minutes away. Overall, this accommodation is worth it. We definitely recommend it.

This was the best possible first experience with Air BnB. We hardly saw Shelley, but she made sure we were doing well and was only a text away. The place is very clean and comfortable, although a little chilly at night; but that's because it was spring and rainy. Bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed when we cooked dinner one night. Bathroom is clean. Loved the quirky decor. We're glad we ended up staying in Brooklyn even though the commute to Manhattan is around 35 minutes by train. Neighborhood was safe and drug and grocery stores are walkable distances. Would love to stay with her again in the future.

The apartment is as shown. Very spacious, lots of light, very clean and has almost everything you need. A microwave for the kitchen would be a nice addition but we survived without it. Shelley was a great host, very quick to respond to questions we had, replenished our towels when we asked and gave us lots of valuable information about getting around and where to visit. The neighbourhood is a little older. We felt very safe during the day and late at night walking to and from the subway. Very easy to make your way around Brooklyn and New York with the subway. It was about a 20 min ride to manhatten. The only issue with the apartment is the noise. You can hear pretty much every foot step taken above, and if there is music playing that can also be heard. So if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. All in all it's a great place to stay and Shelley is a great host. Thank you for your hospitality!

Shelley's place was beautifully decorated and Shelley clearly takes a lot of pride in her hosting. She was available and ready to help and replied to any queries I had almost instantly. The property itself is spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need for your stay. The amount of space that you got for your money makes it very good value, and the lockbox meant that check in and check out were a breeze. The only small issues we had were that there is no window in the bedroom, which didn't help with jetlag and the property isn't that sound proofed so there were times where we could here the people upstairs quite clearly. Other than that we couldn't have asked for anything else from our stay, big thanks to Shelley, I would highly recommend her place to other travellers.

Shelley's place is really nice and well decorated, you have everything you need and you can feel like HOME while staying here. We love the design. Shelley even greeted us when we checked in, so we got to know more about Brooklyn and the area around, we do love the neighbourhood, quite, safe and pretty, will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

Cool, artsy Caribbean chic with global/European style. I founded a local film and art festival and love my neighborhood, Flatbush/Brooklyn - I was born, raised and now am a property owner here! I love design, food and gardening. Oh! and I'm a media executive that is now doing her own thing which is great. Look forward to meeting you.
